I like friendly the staff at my branch or on the day I walked in I’ve never been to Ameris banks, and they were all very professional, sharp knew what they were talking about, and were able to take care of me very quickly. I opened a business account and a personal account. The lady that helped me with opening the accounts was so kind and so nice and very efficient and got me taken care of. I’m pleased. Ameris has all of the knowledge and services of the big banks, but small-town feel for the attention you’re hoping for.

The branch in Sugar Hill on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. has been most helpful and always answered my questions in a knowledgeable manner. Whenever I have requested services they were done quickly and professionally.

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced at a bank. My husband and I have been customers with Fidelity/Ameris for over 10 years and this branch has us cancelling our accounts and going elsewhere. Their ATM malfunctioned and took my husband’s debit card. Instead of apologizing and going above and beyond to make it right their response was “we don’t open the atm until fridays” or we could go get a whole new debit card cut.” So after we asked if we are expected to wait an entire week to get it back, they agreed to let me come and get it. I drove over 30 minutes back to this branch to get my husband’s card (after they said we could on the phone and keep in mind I am also an account holder for that card), and when I arrived they told me I was unable to pick it up without my husband present. This simple problem could’ve been fixed with an apology and helping to make it convenient for their customer. Sad that this is taking away a customer who has been with this bank for over a decade.

Don't worry about it. I have already closed my accounts. Can't treat customers any way you want to. Peace out. I will never recommend this bank to anyone ever again. Been a customer since 2013 to be treated this way. Never should have changed from Hamilton State. That is when they took care of you. Now it has gotten down right pathetic.
