Mark and his crew were a pleasure to work with, and we couldn't be more pleased with the final result! Our project included an outdoor fireplace with wood storage, patio with permeable stone pavers, fence and lighting. The attention to detail and quality of work have made our new outdoor space everything we had hoped for. Mark was very knowledgeable and helped to make our vision a reality while also offering recommendations based on his many years of experience. I would happily recommend Allgood Construction Services!

I really wanted a good mason; we wanted granite curbstone laid along the driveway and there was quite a bit of repair to do to a large granite wall, and some brick repointing. I contacted Mark and he said he could not get to me for two months but asked me to send him an e-mail, which I did. I asked him if I could check back with him in two weeks and he said 'yes'. Two weeks later he said he received the mail but he was busy and to check back with him. Three weeks later I called and he asked me for my address, which I mailed to him. Two weeks later I called and call went right to voicemail; when this happens, it means you were blocked. I always asked Mark if I could call him back in 2 or 3 weeks and he always said yes. If you cannot schedule a job, tell me that you cannot schedule a job. If you have to turn the job down even after a few phone calls, then tell me you cannot do it. Don't cut me off. The only thing Mark did for me was to put me two months behind in my projects in the rudest way possible.

I called to see about getting an estimate for a residential sidewalk and some guy named Mark answered the phone. When I asked about a sidewalk he was short and said they were too busy to do concrete right now and before I could say anything he hung up on me. I'll remember that.

Mark came highly recommended by neighbors on the NextDoor App. I decided to hire him after having to let previous masons go that were not doing the job correctly. I handed Mark a photo of what I wanted from HOUZZ... NEVER in my wildest dreams did I expect him and his crew to make my fireplace look even better than that of the photo... AND they were on time everyday worked on and he even squeezed us into his busy schedule since we had a torn out fireplace by the time I hired him. I HIGHLY recommend that you not only hire Mark and his team, but if you were only considering doing a fireplace or any masonry work and weren't sure you wanted to do it... HOLY COW my fireplace MAKES MY HOME. I cannot stop staring at this masterpiece. I wish I could include a photo... Everyone that comes over has admired his work. THANK YOU SO MUCH! HONEST, DEPENDABLE AND AMAZING QUALITY. You Definitely get what you pay for with Mark Allgood!!!
