Many sites. Watch videos to find the ones you want. We went to test out a new, last year model. Sadly purchased from SuperDeals RV and had a bunch of issues. The site is nice with the open space around the pool. The staff was helpful for issues we encountered.

We stayed in site 391 for the New Year weekend and it was terrible. The asphalt is busted up on the whole loop and the site was horrible. No room to deploy awning or put our rugs out. If you don't have 4x4, you won't be able to back into this site. The map shows us as the last site on the street yet there was an old abandoned 5th wheel sitting right next to us. It was creepy. Stone Mountain needs to shut down that whole section and renovate it. For the price we paid I was expecting a lot nicer accommodations. I've paid a lot less for a lot better sites that were full hook up. We will return again unless this loop is our only choice. The other sections looked nice.

Seem to have all your basic camping items if your needed something.Picked up a nice fridge magnet and a T shirt and of course a Chocolate mint Ice cream bar. The RV park maps need to be updated. The old H sections are still on map for the new area’s that are M, N etc

We walked around the park to check out all of the campsite loops. I will be honest, I am glad that we were staying in site 150. I think the loop behind the office is the nicest loop. There are some sites on the other loops that are closer to the lake and a little more secluded, but our road was a lot smoother than the others and we were up on a hill which allowed us to see the lake and the top of Stone Mountain. Our site was also across the street from a comfort station which was nice. The campground has a pool and a small playground. There is a lot to do in the park. There are plenty of hiking trails. I recommend taking the trail up to the top of the mountain, if that is too strenuous, take the gondola up and then hike down. Take a ride across the covered bridge and walk around Indian Island. Take a bike ride around the outside loop(7.5 miles) of the park with some nice uphill and downhill sections. The campground was well taken care of, unfortunately the park is showing some signs of age and not being kept up. There are some areas of the park that could use a little TLC. Overall it is a nice campground and I would stay here again if I was visiting the park.

The property is so pretty with lovely views. The guy that locked up the pool was so nice (I wish I had gotten his name- but he was very friendly). We enjoyed our hike up Stone Mountain quite a bit. Unfortunately, the power at the Stone Mountain park went out the night we arrived so everything was closed the day we were there to visit. We had power at the campground which was great, though. We were really dismayed with the pool and camp store hours. Everything shuts down at 5pm which is way too early. The pool hours are 10-5 which is too late of a start and too early of an end when it comes to camping with kids. We like to swim in the early morning and later afternoon, so the timing of the campground does not work for us.

If you need it, they probably won't have it. Coffee machines didn't work, they didn't have K cups for me to make my own at the camper, and it generally isn't well stocked.

You need to know where the good sites are located. There is an area that houses some long term sites which are less than desirable. It has clean, modern restrooms/showers, the grounds are nice and there is much to see and do in the park grounds.

The park is beautiful. The people are nice. However, the site we had (and at least half of the others) were very unlevel. The asphalt was broken and there was a large useless slab of concrete in the way of our steps. Some of the people staying there seemed to be long term residents, according to the amount of trash and things in their yards. Some of the roads also were very unlevel, with pits and bumps that will j*** the vehicles around. There were some loops that were better than others, but be very careful when you choose sites.
