I gave 5/5 stars just because the staff was SUPER friendly . I had a great night sleep . This Inn is a GREAT concept. I’m just disappointed for $230 a night we figured the pool would be open, our fridge would work and we would have access to ice machines ( didn’t work). We went to the main lobby to get water . They had NOTHING. , she said we’d have to go down to the other resort to get anything. Also it needs to be listed on the website about the park tickets being cheaper if you buy them from the Inn instead of online . Like $10 cheaper a ticket . We definitely wasted some money coming here .This place is run down not historic . The park is BEAUTIFUL and there is plenty to do

Our checkin time was 4pm however our room wasn't ready until after 7pm. The receptionist was rude and wouldn't answer our questions. Took our phone number and said she would call when ready. Never got that phone call! Tired of waiting so drove back to the Inn to find the room was ready. Different receptionist who also had no answers. Web site said pool was open and restaurant was open. Neither was open.
Room had a coffee maker and coffee but no cups, sugar, creamer or stirrers. Room had a layer of dust on the furniture. Small (dead) bugs under the bathroom counter. Light in bathroom had a short in it and would go on and off. Water faucet in bathroom dripped.
A plus, tho, the room was spacious and the beds comfortable.
Went to get ice and both machines on 2nd floor were broken. Went to office to get ice. Receptionist gave me a clump of ice which only filled half the ice bucket. Not happy. Walked around the first floor and finally found an ice machine that worked. Next morning it too was out of ice!
Outside stairs were rusting. Paint coming off handrails.
Wow just wow! Will never stay there again. Will never recommend the Inn at Stone Mountain Park either!

This hotel is incredibly run down and would require significant investment to make it come close to what the listing promises. The pool is closed, and the courtyard is overgrown and not maintained, the restaurant is closed, our room had a lot of mold over the shower/tub, closet doors were hanging and did not function ... the only thing I can say positive is that the internet works, the towels were nice, the water pressure is good, and the location is convenient if you're doing stuff in the park. Also, the staff was friendly. Otherwise, it was worse than a roadside motel you could get for $50 a night.

A Very low quality hotel. Would not recommend staying there. A couple left because of bed bugs and roaches so we went back to our room and inspected. No bugs but dirty. I wish we would have left. I was told there was a pool and continental breakfast. No breakfast and pool wasn't open. No microwave. Mold growing in bathroom. Carpet tattered. Many issues, DONT BOOK!

Room was not ready. Waited over 2 hours before
Desk clerk offered us smaller room which were surprisingly more costly but she voided the up charge. Bed and bathroom were clean enough. Hallway was filthy. Restaurant abandoned, pool non-operational, dim lighting outside, clerk was friendly and pleasant despite our displeasure with our rooms not being ready, AC adequate but loud. Some mold in one room, cockroach in another and peeling paint in ours. Tv worked fine. Very convenient to park which is why we stay there.
Walkability: Close to park. Not sure why gate charged my husband for parking when he told them he was staying at the Inn.

Hotel looks nothing like the pictures online , there is no pool or restaurant, the room looked like something from 40 years ago with dead bugs in the hotel lobby, we asked for a refund within 30 minutes and the lady at the front desk was very nice and said she understood, so this must happen a good bit

Rooms: There were no guards on the outlets. The outlets were so worn out that stuff wouldn't stay plugged in. Counter tops in bathroom were cracked. There was a roach under the edge of a bed. Toys left from previous guest found in couch. Dirty tissue we found when we moved a chair. If you touched the closet doors they fell. The air conditioning did not work in our room. Maintenance was uninterested in helping resolve. Said it was fine although it was about 76 in the room.
Walkability: The hotel is directly across from park attractions. No need to move vehicle.

Terrible experience, I would not recommend staying here. The pool had not been opened during our stay in July. Our room had broken light fixtures and drawers, no fresh towels, 3 cockroaches, a used condom in the sheets of one of our beds, and the staff locked us out of our rooms and gave keys to others guests by mistake.
Rooms: The rooms are spacious with an old style, but the lack of care and cleanliness makes for a terrible stay. Its sad having stayed there as a kid to see what a dump it has become.
Food & drinks: Restaurant was closed and appears not regularly be open.

The only redeeming quality of this hotel is the location. With a clear view of the Stone Mountain monument, it is a great location. However, the rooms were disgusting; cockroaches on the floor (5 in our room), some sort of flying insects on the walls and towels, at some point my son pushes his toy car under the bed and when I looked under it there was hair ties, used bandaids, hair, and trash. It looks as though the room hadn’t been cleaned in any way other than changing the sheets. The shower had no soap or shampoo/conditioner. The air conditioner is located in the corner of the room and managed to get the room to about 75 degrees once we turned it down to 60. There is a restaurant and bar located in the hotel, they are both shut down. The hotel boasts a great view, having a lovely coffee on your personal balcony, and a swim in the pool. The coffee maker is hidden in the bathroom and had spiderwebs and dust covering it and no coffee, the balcony was covered in peeling paint and loose nails, and the pool is shut down, on the 4th of July..
Overall, the hotel was what I would expect to find in a third world country and still be disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone that plans on enjoying their hotel experience.
Rooms: Disgusting rooms. Unclean and insect infested.
Walkability: 5 minute walk from the Stone Mountain Monument

Hotel is in total disarray, restaurant is closed, bar is closed, pool not operational we tried multiple rooms, first room the door frame was covered in spider webs and bugs, stains on sheets, torn mattresses, broken frame on pull out bed, second room had water stains on the wall that ran down from the ceiling and to the mattress also staining the mattress. Upon entry to the hotel, the hardwood floor is missing in various places and has been replaced with large plywood pieces.
