Dr. Benjamin and Dr. Thompson are usually great. Ever since Emory came and took over this place is a joke. I’ve been waiting in waiting room for 2 hours to have a 5-10 minute conversation regarding a medication that almost put my wife in the hospital.

As others have said the service here has deteriorated since merging with Emory. I was here for a physical and the system was down. After 4 days I returned and order has still not been put in for bloodwork and none could explain why.

If you want to be treated respectfully by front desk and bloodwork lady dont visit this facility. All i see is rudeness

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have yet to have a seamless experience at this office over the past few years. I always have to wait in the lobby at least 20-30 minutes after my appoitment time even after getting to the office 15 minutes early as they highly request. Whether it’s short staff of nurses, system outages, an overbooked office it’s always something. I really like Dr, Benjamin as a physician but I will not be back until the office operations are improved.

Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Dr. James Vlahos is my primary care and he's doing the best job. So far my experience with Emory as new patient is great.

Awful. No care. Should be shut down. Terrible care. Started going there decades ago, it was different then

I cannot understand what's going on with them since taken over by Emory. Cannot reach them directly, and will not respond to calls, after the test results there is no review especially if the tests were done at a non-emory location. I used to be very happy with Dr. Benjamin, but now I have to seriously consider looking for another Primary care. So terrible with Emory Monopoly

I started going to Rockbridge Medicine as a young adult and trusted them to see the rest of my family as well, including my mom. Our doctor was Dr. Tina Ann Kerr Thompson and she was great in the beginning. However, as time went on she got less attentive and didn't take our concerns seriously. This was concerning because she is a black woman so we thought she we understand how black women are more likely to be misdiagnosed or their symptoms ignored and that she would be more attentive. But that was not the case. She actually ignored my moms symptoms that ended up being stage four breast cancer. After us being patients for over a decade, she didn't even have the descency to deliver the news or follow up with her until she called to request to speak with her directly. My mom trusted her and believed in her and she failed her. She also scheduled my mom for breast surgery and never did a full body scan when all along the cancer was everywhere. Her doctor peers were shocked and said a full body scan should have been done and my mom should've been referred to am oncologist first rather than a breast surgeon. The breast surgeon also happened to be Dr. Thompson's friend. She became arrogant in her abilities and when an urgent care doctor told my mom to have her doctor order a CAT scan because if back pain, Dr. Thompson refused stating she wanted to do it her way first when all along the cancer had spread and it was on her spin. Yet Dr.. Thompson kept saying it was a pulled muscle knowing she had breast cancer and that cancer can spread. We never heard from Dr. Thompson after the diagnosis and not even after my mom died. Save yourself and do not go to this office or doctor. This still haunts me because she could've been diagnosed so much sooner.

Since they joined with Emory it's not the same, and now my doctor doesn't seem to care much about the lack of good service. They even lost my husbands chart once the switch with Emory happened. I will not be back after being with them for over10 yrs. Really sad.

Can't get a response on the portal "My Chart". Won't return calls. What has happened to this place.

When I actually see my doctor, I love her and I know she listens to me and never rushes our visit. However, it is impossible to get a response from this office through the patient portal or by calling the call center (which is actually on the Emory campus). You cannot call directly to this office. The only option is to go to the office and wait to speak to someone.

I’m not really sure what’s going on with this place. They do not respond to patient portal messages. I was on hold with the Emory call center for 30 + minutes. They told me that the doctor or office staff would call me back the same day, and of course, they never did. Ended up going to Minute Clinic and was done in 15 minutes. Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to find a new doctor.

I have been going to this location since I was 19 years old maybe a little less since they have switched over it is very hard to even get an appointment get your medication I've been trying to get my medication for you almost a month now and I get to run around every time I call now today that I need to make an appointment but if I make an appointment I still have to go without my medication until I go to the appointment this is medication I've been taking since I was 19 I've never been without it and all of a sudden now I'm going to have to go without it because nobody would feel my medication I put in for a refill and they only gave me one refill and not all my medication this place is getting very very bad
