Publix Super Market at Deshon Plaza is a favorite store for many long-time shoppers. Overall, it is a really good Publix where BOGO items are easy to spot. The food, including wrap platters, veggie trays, fruit trays, and cupcakes, is fresh, presented beautifully, and tastes great. The manager is often present to resolve concerns, and most cashiers are friendly, polite, and handle their jobs excellently. Associates are happy to help, with some employees noted for being exceptional, courteous, and going the extra mile. However, some younger workers are still learning and need better training, sometimes focusing more on talking amongst themselves. Some customers note the store does not look as clean as it used to, and a few specialty items are not available. The pharmacy staff are described as very nice and sweet.
I ordered 3 dozen cupcakes for a work related celebration and Publix did not disappoint. They were ready on time and the consensus was they tasted amazing. Everyone was asking where did I get them. Thanks and great work Publix!!
