Racist!! Racist!! Do not spend your hard earned money with this establishment. They follow you around the store and watch over you non stop to the point where it makes you feel uncomfortable. Also check your receipts to make sure they’re not overcharging you! Will not return

This review is well overdue ( incident took place about 5 months ago ) ; I will NEVER shop at this particular beauty supply store ever again, this shop is 5 mins from my parents house so weekly I would make trips to get supplies & stock up on products since I am a hairstylist. The lady who works at the counter is extremely rude. I purchase 30 packs of braiding hair however , she charged me for 33 packs of hair instead of 30 when I noticed the error of overcharge I return to the store a few moments later & ask the lady politely if she could recount my purchase or if I could grab 3 more packs of braiding hair which would of cover my difference ; instead she proceed to tell me I was lying and rudely slam each pack of hair on the counter top counting loudly an skipping numbers trying too prove that she didn’t overcharge me , kept telling me they need to run the cameras back etc . at this point I became fed up and told her I would not be leaving the store until I have my money back for my overcharge or 3 more packs of braiding hair I also agreed to have them roll the camera back because I knew for a fact I had nothing to hide an I was right ; 5 mins later with an attitude she tells me I could grab the 3 packs of hair for now to take home an that I would need too write down my name an number so they can call me back to return the hair if the camera shows differently I complied, when I reached home I got a call from the store manager apologizing to me an said she pulled the camera and seen that I was correct an was overcharge , I explained to her how I was so disgusted by the way I was wrongly treated an how I have spent hundreds of dollars in their establishment for YEARS I explained to her I will never step foot in their again an how humiliated & upset I felt for being accused of lying by one of their associates! Please save yourself the trouble and spend your money in establishments that actually respect their customers CJ beauty supply on convington hwy customer service is amazing I will go their for all future needs.

As a professional stylist I like that I can go here for the affirm relaxer if I did not have time to make it to the professional supplier. They also give 10% disciunt to license stylist. Prices not bad. Store is a little congested and small.

Came in here as usual to buy a couple of items. went to the checkout line and was surprised that my total was more than I thought it was going to be. I chopped it up to me just not paying attention to prices. As I was walking out the exit door I was looking down at the receipt and immediately saw that I was overcharged so I went back through the entry door.. This took 5 seconds to do. I asked the lady to check the receipt because I felt overcharged and true enough when she re rang back all of my items it was $25 less. She began speaking in their language to the man that originally rung me up and then stated she needed to review the camera.. She had me wait up at the front several minutes before I lost my patience and asked them why I had to stand and wait when they were the ones that made the obvious mistake. Simply give me the the money back that you overcharged and let me go about my day. The man blatantly told me to my face that he would never make a mistake that big. So I asked him who made the mistake then because it certainly wasn't me.. All of a sudden he didn't understand English. At this point I was frustrated and embarrassed because several people were in the store and of course I didn't want to be the angry black woman so I told them to give me all of my money back for the entire order. They will never get my business again because they took a very simple situation that could have easily been rectified by admitting they were wrong and giving me my money back instead of making me sit there and wait..

Terrible experience!!!! Do Not recommend. I am a barber student at proway hair school. I felt as though I was being watched like a hawk in the sky the entire time. The employees began to speak to each other in another language. Went to the register and was asked what happened to the rest of the products that were in my hand and low and behold and officer walks in and greeted me. I had to point where I left my products and pat myself down to show that I did not steal ANYTHING. Will never return even if it were the last beauty supply in DeKalb County.

I have a business myself so I hate leaving bad reviews but I came to this hair store to give it a try since I’m new to this side of town. Ive been there 3 times and the lady with the glasses tried to rip me off EVERY TIME. Then get upset like I did something wrong when I confront her about it. Just conniving for NO REASON. They follow you around the store even if you have no bags. If you’re that paranoid just close the store and sell products online. Everybody should be treated equally. I will NEVER spend money here again
