Went to a Kroger store @ 1232 S Hairston Rd, Stone Mountain, GA 30088 . The security harassed me at the door on the way out . In my years going to Kroger I have never been so insulted as I was today . I called the store Charles the manager said there was nothing he could do. There is a sign on the door . This is the most resist thing I have seen . The store mostly Black customers annoyed on the way out .. I was in another Kroger today I was not harassed once I was leaving ... If the theft is so bad and you can't keep the shelfs stocked you might as well close the store ... I am posting this on every blog I can so sad

I came into this Kroger to obtain a money order. As soon as I arrive, they say the money service is closed. I ask why.. this lady said "we're going through some changes". I informed her this is the second one I went to in radius, as I went to the one on flat shoals first and another young lady just shrugged her shoulders like she didn't care. Horrible service.

Ridiculous service. I don’t think they really understand that they are dealing with peoples lives. Some prescriptions are a matter of life and death. They either have you on hold for an absurd amount of time or they literally have you hold them hang up. No matter how many times you call prescriptions are almost never ready or you don’t get all that you asked for...sigh...

THEY LOST MY PRESCRIPTIONThis began on a Friday. CVS wouldn’t have my medicine until Tuesday so I had them transfer the prescription to this Kroger. Minutes later I called Kroger. They had received my prescription and it’d be ready in about an hour. It was not. I called Saturday and it wasn’t ready. The phone tag began.I think it was Sunday when I called and was promised a callback that never came. Two or three times I had to leave a voicemail. At some point I was told that maybe I’d sent it to a different Kroger and they would check for me; Of course they did not find it at another Kroger. I still called CVS and confirmed which Kroger my prescription had been sent to.During one of several calls on Monday (Labor Day) I was told that they had NO RECORD of my prescription. They lost my prescription! After another round of phone tag without my prescription materializing I gave up. By this time CVS was closing in about two hours. I called my doctor, had to wait for a callback, and my doctor had to send a new prescription to CVS. Thirty minutes later I was walking out of CVS, medicine in hand.I DID get a callback from Kroger. On Tuesday. The person who called said my name, birth date, and the name of the medicine, so apparently they HAD received the original prescription.

I've seen improvements here lately. It's less often that I see boxes/products stacked up in the middle of an aisle, and whenever I do it's only because someone is standing there stocking. The employees are doing an excellent job at keeping the lines orderly even with customers scattered six feet apart. I won't be using the pharmacy again after they lost my prescription. On Friday I was told they'd received my prescription and it's be ready in an hour. Over the next three days I had to call several times to be told that they never had the prescription, maybe I'd sent it to another Kroger. I had to call my doctor, who had to call in a new prescription to CVS, who had it ready in thirty minutes.Kroger found my prescription the next day.

In the age of Covid, this Kroger is thorough and it is clean. It reminds me of the Publix that used to be on South Hairston, the attention to detail of products and the cleanliness of the merchandise. Again this Kroger had eggs, bread, juice, = the essentials. It is pretty evident the staff and the management work very hard to contribute to the well being of this neighborhood.

The Everyday Customers Rock

This review is for the deli, and the deli only. They either do not have management, or the manager sucks. I'm here at 4 o clock on a Saturday, theres 4 pieces of fried chicken and they tell me they are not frying anymore chicken for the day. But this is a normal occurence. You might come early, any day of the week, and THIS Kroger deli. Not any other Krogers, but this one, will run out of chicken early and won't cook anymore. On top of that, there's a couple of really rude workers in the back. If this Kroger was not right by my house, I would not go to this deli at all.

I've lived in Stonemountain for years and this Kroger has been down the street for as long as I can remember. I purposely avoid going to this Kroger and go out of my way to go to other grocery stores because the customer service is so terrible. Employee response time to customer requests is unacceptable. There is a clear display of lack of concern for the customer. Merely unprofessional. The store is disorganized and the lines are always extremely backed up regardless of time of day.
