“As long as I've lived in Decatur, I can honestly say I've never been to this location before last night!I few weeks ago, I received an email from Ace Hardware inviting me to their Ladies Night Annual event!It talked about a swag bag and other items that were going to raffle off with the proceeds going to charity!There was going to be live music, free food and drinks!I was really looking forward to this because of a simmula event that I attended some yrs ago at a Home Depot!I call myself getting there an hour early to snag one of the swag bags!To my surprise, it appears that everyone else was thinking the same!There were so many people there!This created long lines for food and the drinks!The live band was interesting and entertaining.I didn't get a swag bag, nor did I win any of the raffle prizes!I will admit I had a very good time and I'm planning on going back this weekend so I can really take my time and shop the store minus the long lines and crowds of people!I did have a fantastic time, and I look forward to next year's event!Thank you, Ace Hardware, for a wonderful event!#Ladiesnight#acehardware#goodtimes”

“Dropped off 2 chainsaw blades to be sharpened. Picked-up a few days later. Good store with a vast selection although the store is small, you can find just about anything you need. The only issue I have is the young man that checked me out when paying for my blades. He was not professional and was on his phone..using phrases like "yep" when talking about the store and "uh-huh" when I left and said have a good rest of your day.”

We may not have bought what we went for but the helpfulness of everyone made an impression. We sadly had to go do our purchase at the one in Lawrenceville with nasty attitudes but this located will now be our harbor freight home. I’d rather drive the extra miles to come here before anywhere else.”

“A bit tight in the back ( if you have an over the road truck and 53 footer, you might wanna back in into their receiving area from the road, and make sure you go to the back of the place by making a left or right turn on Skyland Ct, not the front of the place ), but unloading was fast ( 30 minutes ) once I was in the door. “After doing my research, I chose to buy a reconditioned Metabo 12" sliding miter saw w laser at Big Sky. I live near Norcross, GA, so I went there before making this decision to see for myself what kind of operation they've got and how they would treat a walk-in customer. Big Sky Tool team members exceeded my expectations in EVERY possible way...in person. My visit was followed up by several emails inquiring about product availability, warranty info, clarification on A versus C and other simple questions; all emails were replied to within 24 hours, addressing each and every question/concern I had, in a thorough, professional and HONEST manner. As a DIY Woodworker, I will continue shopping at Big Sky Tool for all my tools/equipment offered there. BTW, the miter saw works, looks, and feels brand new, even though I paid WAY less than this saw costs brand new! Once I got the box home, I found the saw was packed extremely well so that, had it been shipped, I'm confident it would've arrived with zero problems. Strongly recommend.”

“Excellent customer service here! I bought a tank of Argon to begin self-teaching myself how to MIG weld Aluminum. The gentleman working the front counter asked a few questions to make sure I was on the right track with what I wanted to do. I already knew or had accounted for several things he asked, but it was awesome that he wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be wasting my time and money if I was going down a bad path. “Went to Cofer Bros after the big orange store messed up a small order and their pro desk couldn't figure it out. The guys here were super friendly and knowledgeable, and followed through on everything they said they'd do. Also got my (correct) materials in hand in a matter of days vs. the several weeks the big box store wanted. It seems like they're primarily set up to deal with big orders for contractors and such, but as a homeowner just looking for some repair materials they still took care of me and never made me feel like my tiny order was a hassle or less important than the commercial guys.”
