This was so close to Stone Mountain, so if was perfect for our vacation The rooms are nice and spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The first time in a while we've stayed at a hotel and I didn't miss my own bed. The breakfast is the best we've seen with mini waffles, pastries, gritz, oatmeal, eggs, and sausage among other things. There really is something for everyone! Not to mention the staff is so wonderful. Big smiles and very helpful. This placenis definitely one we'll stay at again on our next trip this way.

This Hampton is not the same standards of other Hampton Inn hotels that I have stayed at. The inside of the elevator was very scratched up all over and overall the hotel has a very worn out feel. Additionall my room smelled like a sewer. Another guest in line said her room had the same issue. The lady at the front desk did change my room and the 2nd room did not smell, was clean, and thr bed was very comfortable.

I would like to suggest the Front Desk Morning Staff to brush up on customer service skills, it didn't seem like STAFF wanted to be bothered so Staff repeated several times what time checkin was for the hotel. After 3 hours of waiting, Finally, at 3pm Staff called housekeeping to see if the rooms was available, if customer service was apart of the required skill staff could have called earlier to check, I guess staff was determined to make the customer wait until the 3pm checkin rule . In all my previous stays if I arrive at a location early I ask staff if the hotel have any early checkin available they would try their best to help. But not at this hotel. Finally headed to room about 3:15pm then the elevator broke down in the mist of getting to the 4th floor. That is not it! The next day, getting back on the elevator it broke down AGAIN half of my party was stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes (if we didnt have a senior in our party we most definitely would have taken the stairs for the remainder of our visit). As a member of Hilton Honors for years, I NEVER experienced these types of issues before, Very Dissatisfied!

When we arrived at 3pm everything looked fine, except for the school behind the hotel was letting kids out and made it hard to turn into the hotel parking lot. The front desk attendant was very nice. The door to our room was causing trouble locking. We had to stand there for the lock to set and lock. We left the luggage and went to visit stone mountain and to have dinner. Upon our return there was a lot of teen-age activity next door at the bowling alley. Also, the noise downstairs made by drunk people having a liquor party in the lobby in to 3 am, was reaching the 4th floor where we were lodged. The smell of marihuana was terrible permeating into our bedroom. Between the loud noise and the gagging smell made it a horrible night sleep. The door to the bathroom was also falling off the hinges. The towels were clean. The room was clean, and the breakfast and service were very good. Too bad the other experiences destroyed the all the good effort of these attendants. I was really hoping to return and visit other areas near Atlanta, but this experience has turned me away.

The area is run down, and I would not return here with my family. The hotel was once very nice I am sure, but the maintenance is lacking on this property.

Read all of theses reviews before booking this hotel, everyone is not lying!! first let me start by saying when we checked in, there was a lady there to greet us by the name of Muffin that was pretty nice and pleasant. Also, some of the housekeeping ladies were pretty pleasant as well, but not all. When asking for something, they act like you’re bothering them! I enjoyed the kitchen area of the suite and the room and bathroom was pleasingly clean. I loved that the air in the guest room worked great, because when walking into the hallways and elevators there is NO AIR! Which doesnt surprise me because the elevator buttons are hanging on by a piece of thread. when I booked here, it was super late (after midnight) when we were searching, we were tired from driving in from 8-9 hours and I regret not reading any reviews. This place is horrible for you If you are used to nice comfortable looking hotels from the lobby to guest room, with a nice environment where EVERYONE is nice and friendly staff that cares about the comfort of their guests. The security guard with the last name Parker would be a really good employee at some place like a corrections facility…he is extremely rude and disrespectful and just adds to the bad taste that this hotel left in my family’s mouth. So rude… This hotel has a sign in the rooms that says something like “100% satisfactory stay and we will do what it takes to make sure your stay is a great one” this is a bunch of garbage and should be removed from this hotel quickly. We ran out of toilet tissue one night at like 10:30pm, so I go down to the front desk to ask for more..the lady says “we don’t have any” I said do you have Kleenex?? She says “no, they didn’t leave me with much here tonight. they locked the room and took the keys and will not be here to open it until 8am so I can tell them to bring you tissue when they come”…WARNING*** if you choose to stay here, be prepared to drive to the nearest gas station/convenience store to purchase you some toilet paper, or use the restroom and wait until someone comes to unlock the supply room at 8am when the next shift starts, or jump in the shower immediately after using or just use your hands to wipe yourself at a hotel that you’re paying over $150+ per night to stay....smh. Hampton, If you will do “anything” to guarantee my stay is a satisfactory one…why not open up another one of those empty guest rooms or your office bathroom to pull some of that toilet paper out and replace it at 8am when you get a “key” to avoid your guest from driving around town looking for some??? Another thing….the sign says Breakfast ends at 11am on Saturdays. I’m thinking I can sleep in a bit before bathing to head down at 10 to grab a bite. When I come down, they were out of several items including the of mix for the waffle maker. I’m pressing the button to attempt to get some before realizing nothing comes out and some rude employee lady with long red braids that’s stocking jelly looks and says “this means it’s all gone” …I asked if there was more..her response was “no more” and she turned and kept walking. I asked another lady with short locs that was basically hovering over and guarding the hot food that’s located in the serving dishes if there was more waffle mix on the way. her response was “no because it takes a while to make the mix and by the time we make more, it will be time for breakfast to end”…girl stop! because nobody at this ghetto Hampton inn is back there making the breakfast from scratch. It’s a simple pour of more pre-made waffle mix! I then said so breakfast doesn’t really end at 11am then right??? She had no response at all and just looked at me. Why would you tell the people breakfast ends at a certain time, if you are not prepared to ensure the breakfast is there for the guest at the entire time frame that you tell them. My mom woke up and went down at about 9:30a and there was barely anything there remaining to choose. I could tell you more but I ran out of character space here….smh. PICK ANOTHER HOTEL!

What can I say…This place was completely awful! Got a suite..sink in kitchen area was leaking. Pipe separated from drain. Tried to call the front desk only to discover there wasn’t a dial tone. No dial tone because there wasn’t a cord attached. Phone was in the table as decoration. Reached out via the app….NO RESPONSE as yet. (I’m back home now.) 1 garbage can that was in the bathroom. The carpet was sticky as hell. Let’s not forget the fire alarms going off & everyone including staff walking around like nothing happened. Turned out to be a false alarm. But no one said a word. When I asked a staff member, her response was “I don’t know”. Say whaaaa???

Omg! Where do I begin. The rooms are not ready. The rep stated the rooms haven't been cleaned since yesterday. ( Red Flag). They hover over the people and watch u eat breakfast and talk. (Sit down somewhere) rude and creates unnecessary anxieties. This is unacceptable coming from another state. Wow!Rooms: Wasn't ready. No have been clean since the day before.

This is the worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. Workers were unfriendly and the rooms were unclean and not prepared for our family of 4. We usually can count on Hampton Inn's to be good places to stay. Not this one!!

The lock was damaged in our room. We could smell marijuana in our room which we were not partaking. And someone's child cried all night long. And although that wasn't the hotel's fault, it did make for a long night.

The rooms was nice and clean. Good service. However, I think the rug in the corridor on the floor level needs to be cleaned, cos it has that wet smell. We would love to be back though.
