YO! This spot right here hits different. A must go to when visiting Atlanta. Daniel is one of the best baristas in the coffee culture!

What a cool spot. I love the care that has gone into preserving the original home and leaning into its history. Lots of cool coffee flavor syrups to offer, and kind barista! Glad I found it :)

Phenomenal little shop! Had a flat white that was textbook delicious and the right milk texture. Cozy and chill spot to hit before or after Stone Mountain! Highly

Becoming a routine visit when I hike Stone Mountain. I come for the welcoming warmth, incredible matchas, and peaceful atmosphere. Blessed for spaces like theseDietary restrictions: Cafe that can attend to many dietary needs

Hands down the best cup of coffee I've ever had! I can't get over it. I'm drinking it right now.The service was great too. I don't live anywhere near this place, but if I'm ever in Stone Mountain again, I will def be stopping here.

ordered a chaider which was homemade apple cider with masala chai, which was delicious for the colder weather. The matcha isn’t presweetened if you are looking to have a less sweet matcha experience. The vibe of the place was chill and they host community events. A Saturday visit lead to me coming back later that night for an open mic night. 10/10 wholesome experience

Unbelievably delicious breakfast, amazing coffee with variety of options to customize, and phenomenal service. Sad I don’t live in GA or I would come every Saturday. Keep it up Gilly!

This place almost became one of my favorite spots until I found out that they treat their staff horribly! I always wondered what happened to the sudden quality change of their services. Turns out one of their best baristas got into a fatal accident and their lead didn't say a word to the boy. Not giving your servers credit for how well of a job they do for you is simply not okay. Calling them replaceable should NEVER be called for! I expected better from a black owned business. No employee should undergo such mental stressors with such little incentive by the management. I'll be grabbing my coffee elsewhere regardless of how eccentric Gillys's drinks are. That treatment is immoral and not Christian!

Evidently they are located in the former Mayor's house. Its a big beautiful victorian style with a wrap around porch at the top giving you a nice view of stone mtn village. The Barista JB is friendly and formidable in his ability which also describes the owner who shook my hand to say hello. I had the twiced baked croisant and an oatmilk latte. Both excellent. Only thing I'd add is some nice classic style white mugs and saucers for serving the coffee in as it will add some more european flare to go with that croissant! Highly recommend it. Enjoy!

I'm so happy to have discovered Gilly's! This charming local coffee shop offers a delightful combination of delicious food, top-notch coffee, and a fantastic atmosphere. All in all, my first visit was an absolute delight. JP, the barista, provided excellent assistance in guiding me through the menu. Ultimately, I decided to try the latte, which was expertly crafted with a blend of D'Angelo coffee, oat coffee, and their new new golden milk. I paired my drink with their scrumptious bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. After my meal, I decided to try the "Brooklyn Moss" to go.

arguably one of the best cafes in atlanta. it's always been in my top 3, and every visit just confirms why i love it so much. but this visit went above and beyond my original expectations—the barista's kindness in providing me and my friends with two free drinks just to try was so genuine, yet not overwhelming, touching us so personally. also tried the food for the first time and i have to say it's better than most well-known brunch places around here. you can tell they care about what they serve through the quality, the presentation, and the delivery of it all. recommend to anyone who's simply looking to feel welcomed and loved because they do it so purely.
