My GPS wanted to bring me the wrong way to get to the hotel.There is not a 2 say street in front of the hotel. You can only turn right to get in the hotel and turn right to leave. Literally have to go around a big block area to get back to hotel entrance. Hotel is well worn. Not sure that current owner is trying to improve it. They Charge everyone a $100.00 deposit. Then at checkout the manager runs and checks your room to see if you deserve your deposit back. I believe they do this as they have a problem with people smoking in the rooms. The closet was damaged. The doors were filthy. Even noticed mold at top of the bathroom door. I will say that at least the sheets and bedding appeared to be cleaner than I have seen at other choice hotel locations. We had scheduled a 1 night stop in the area. Had we been staying more than 1 night we would have changed hotels for the second night. Cannot offer any opinion on the free breakfast as we had plans to eat breakfast at Birrieria Landeros in Duluth. They serve authentic central Mexico food.Nearby activities: Location is really close to Stone Mountain State Park. There are other hotels that might be more expensive nearby as well.

It was disgusting!!! The parking lot was filthy!! The inside of the building was gross!! The elevator floor was dirty!!! There was garbage piled upnext to the vending machine! The room carpet was nasty and the room smelled! There was hair on the bed! Thefridge was not cleaned! The tub had a stain in it as if it was soap scum! The bathroom garbage was not cleaned! There were beads and stuff left back from previous people! The phone was not working! The tv didnt show a lot of the channels! Breakfast machines were broken! The breakfast was not presented well! The pool was freezing cold and had a filmy substance on top the water! There were no towels! We asked over 5 times for towels for our room! The towels were worn out with holes! There was smoking in the rooms! Noone was helpful! The toiletries were not brand new! They had been opened and used! I would recommend closing this location until there is proper management that can rectify these major issues. We all need our deposit and money back!! If my family and I weren't traveling from far and needed to rest before continuing our travels..I WOULD'VE LEFT! NOT EVEN A HOMELESS PERSON SHOULD GET A ROOM IN THERE!Rooms: The room was disgusting!!! The carpet smelled and it looked bad! The sheets were not clean and the towels were worn out with holes. The bathroom tub was stained like soap scum. The fridge was dirty. Just over all DISGUSTING!

I had a decent stay here for the price. But it’s been almost a week and I haven’t received my security deposit and now I have woken up to an additional charge on my card.. when I call he just says to call my bank. I’m so frustrated and may now end up with overdraft fees.. I was just looking for an affordable hotel and now with this charge and not getting my deposit back yet idk out almost $500 for a two night stay…on a room that’s worth maybe $90 a night…which is insane. I should’ve known something was up when I heard one of the staff having a screaming match with a lady in the hallway over her wanting to dispute a charge.. I want to be fair and say it’s a decent hotel in a location that’s close to pretty much everything Stone Mountain has to offer but if you stay here I guess make sure your rich enough to not be worried about random $100 charges coming out of your account.

We normally like to stay in Comfort Inns so we didn’t do as much research when we booked a quick stop on our way home. This hotel should not carry the brand name. To begin with they charged a $100 security deposit that they actually took out and when I called them on it they said it would be refunded in 5-7 days. We specifically booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool but when we arrived it was out of order. It was dirty, cramped, AC didn’t work in first room and second room was musty. The breakfast was subpar with food either missing, cold or just out of order. Do not book this hotel!

This hotel SHOULD NOT be a Comfort in the #choicehotels family. It is #econolodge quality at best! This hotel is in disrepair, noisy (VERY close to the highways), AND not clean. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The staff is not very customer friendly and poorly trained. Choice should remove this hotels franchise status as it blemishes their brand.

This place is the most horrible Comfort Inn and Suites to stay in. When we walked into the room it looked like a western gunfight had taken place inside because there was patches all over the walls where there once must have been holes……you also only get room service once a week if I could I’d give it a -5 stars…..well the clerks were very nice so maybe -4 or -3, but I definitely won’t be staying here again!Rooms: HORRIBLE!

The rooms were not cleaned well. The walls had different areas where there were things splattered on them. The tub had hair in it. The phone is dated and didn't even work. On top of that, there were 2 roaches in the bathroom. I took a picture of one and even when I asked to speak to the manager, the front desk clerk said "He's on leave." I told him about the bugs and he said "You should've called and we could've sprayed roach spray." I asked for a refund of my 16,000 points and he said "We don't do refunds for minor complaints." I couldn't believe it. I'm so disappointed.

Just a couple of days ago I stayed at another Comfort Inn and loved it. When I booked this one I thought I would find the same quality of a place. Come to find out it’s like night and day. When I pulled up I saw a guy urinating in the parking lot. The check in process went ok but they wanted to put a $100 dep. on the credit card.the last place didn’t ask for any. The lobby looked like it’s been around for a while and quite worn like an old shoe.The room was not much better. It seemed clean till you looked around. I could have mentioned all the things wrong to the front desk but I don’t think much would have happened that late at night. Besides that I’m not on the payroll for quality control. That person should be reprimanded for not doing their job. Toilet seat loose to the point of it almost coming off the bowl, has the bath vent ever been cleaned? Besides the bearing squeal the dust buildup was disgusting. Tried to adjust the temperature and found the knob missing. The closet door was off its track. Wall patching is a hack job, toilet had paint and looked bad, microwave and mini fridge needed cleaning! I could go on but won’t stay there again.Rooms: Gag me!

Always been pleased with Comfort Inn till stayed the Stone Mountain facility. Place was dirty and out of date. Nothing seemed to work or open including the pool and staff, crackheads roaming around parking lot and coming lobby to get drink of water. Comfort Inn should take down the sign.

JUST DONT!!! Rooms were neat LOOKING but the AC didn't work half the time and I woke up sweating and couldn't breathe due to the amount of black mold I found looking into the AC unit. This made me extremely sick and I ended up very sick from my 4 hour stay. The staff were incompetent and rude. I will never stay here again and reporting them to get them removed from our corporate network of hotels.

Nice clean rooms, nice hotel for the price. See front desk lady was awesome. They had an unheated pool. I would recommend booking directly through hotel. Choice hotel management sucks terrible.Surrounding area seems a little dangerous. The shopping center about a block away had multiple vehicles in the parking lot with shattered windows.

I was with my family visiting my sick grandmother and needed a hotel for the night. Most were booked because of events going on in the area. Once I got to the room I found it to be dirty and out dated. There was also only one towel in the bathroom and the tub was noticeably dirty and the shower current was thin cloth and wasn’t long enough so water went all over the floor. Another thing that was disappointing was the curtains only closed half way so the street lights and car headlights shined through the window all night. Very disappointing experience.

The hotel could've been cleaner. The beautiful stairway that leads up to the second floor need serious vacuuming! We had hair in our bath tub, and the floors needed vacuuming. The staff was very nice however, especially the sweet lady that worked breakfast every morning.

This has only been my second stay at the hotel brand. Thank goodness this one has blackout curtains. The only issues were the bed was very hard and every time we left we had to go back down and reset the key. Very annoying.
