If I could give this company no stars I would. DO NOT USE Budget rental!!! I Rented a van in Atlanta to drop in Salt Lake City. After getting to Plano Tx on day 1 (Friday 9/23/22) the brakes making the worse metal on metal sound THE ENTIRE WAY I called to complain at 9am 9/24/22. How can you rent a van with no brakes?!? Finally Budget sent someone to look at the van at 1:20pm to confirm there are no front brakes and we would need to obtain a new van. He said these rental places “never check returns to make sure they run right or are safe before handing them to the next person.” I had to wait until 4pm to get “approved” for a van only to find out one isn’t available in a 250 mile radius. Called customer service to be told some compensation would be given but they can’t say for sure what will be compensated or how much. So what do I do? Can I get a hotel room? Do they compensate for food? What about lost wages since I need to show up for work on Monday? I had to call to follow up more times than I can count, when I did miraculously I would receive a call at the same time from Budget saying they were following up. Finally I spoke to Michael, who said they found a van and he would call me back, but he needed the mileage of my van first. Do you think he called me back? NOPE! So here I am stranded in Plano TX…. Do I drive? Do I get a hotel room? This is a lawsuit waiting to happen and my life is in the balance!

I wish I could give them negative stars. This place is terrible. We called yesterday to make sure that I truck was there and was told yes it would be there today. We arrived at this sham of a place at 8:45am and no one was there, even though it said that they opened at 8:30 am. So someone finally arrived but it wasn't the lady that worked at the rental part. We were told she wouldn't be there until 9:15am. Now again, my daughter called her yesterday and she never told her what time she would arrive to work. The lady never showed up. Then after waiting we were finally told the truck wasn't there and none of the other trucks were working. Just shut that part down if you guys aren't going to do the right thing. So Sad!!!!! This is the second time I've had a bad experience with budget, I will never ever try to rent with them again. Just horrible!!!!

This place should have their rental franchise revoked by budget. We reserved a van on 4/5/2022. We were in Doraville GA without a vehicle,so we took an uber to the location to pickup our van. It cost 25 dollars in a gully washer of a rain storm. We arrive and they're closed. The mechanics at rhe shop where budget is located said the budget lady just didn't show up. They didn't know why. Why in hell budget allowed us to reserve this day is beyond me. So now we're having to uber back to Doraville,another 25$ and we're soaked from going in and out where it was raining so crazy hard. Wasted a couple hours we could have been working,and cost us around 50 bucks ( I don't know the actual total for the uber as my wife did it on her phone) This is b.s. that they wasted our time and money. If the website allows a reservation, then someone should be there. Another lady was there to get a car and had spent 60$ on an uber getting there,she was also out of luck. This is in no way a bad review of the auto shop,but only the budget rental place located inside, which rhe mechanic shop owner said was a separate business,she just rents a desk there and doesn't work for him.

CRIMINALS. They dont bill you if they think you owe them - they will forge your signiture and take it right out of your account, no invoice, no call, nothing. They destroyed my checking account like that. Do not use your debit card - they act like you give them an all accesd pass to your bank account. They took the estimate, the deposit, and hundreds more out of my account - with no notification. I protested it but they act like they lost the account info - yet they toom money? Youve been warned.

I made a reservation for 11 today and when I get here the lady tells me she doesn't know when the truck will be here and that they are running late ! I've paid for it already now I'm just sitting here with no answers as to when it'll be ready , they told me it was ready on the phone !

I returned a truck here and the customer service is awful. The budget truck representative had no direct number. The people who works for auto world were very rude and disrespectful about transferring me to her. One of them even yelled thru the phone. Then the call center was just as worst about trying to help. Never renting from budget again.

When we broke down on the side of the road in BFE it took them MORE THAN 24 hours to to fix the problem. Had to spend the night midway through our trip and couldn't return the equipment at our originally scheduled time and were charged a late return fee as well as no reimbursement for the two nights we had to pay to stay in a run down hotel. Three months later and I'm still fighting this piss poor company to be paid back for the $600 in additional charges that were completely out of our control.

Had an early morning reservation, when we arrived there was no one to assist us and several other people also waiting. The person showed up about 30 minutes later but they'd lost the keys to trucks. We finally got our truck about an hour and a half later than the reservation time. Everything seemed terribly disorganized.

The girl behind the counter Mavit was pleasant, personable, easy to work with and accommodating . I will be recommended this location to others. Simply she have a wonderful customer service attitude. Great and friendly staff!!!
