“Ms. Jasmine Is our FAVORITE! She’s so sweet and loving and you can tell by the way ALL the kids love on her. She’s so kind, have patience with the toddlers and caring . When my son 1st started daycare, he had a hard time adjusting at drop off. But Ms. Jasmine always asked him do he want a hug and every morning he looked forward for that welcoming hug. She made him feel comfortable and from then, he adjusted and Ms Jasmine is still his comfort zone. We appreciate the ones who take time to love on our little ones while in their care! Shout out to Ms. Jasmine in the toddler class! We appreciate you!”

Demetria Kitchens, the director, and assistant director Ms. Shelly, are the MOST thoughtful, caring and charismatic people I have met. Top tier individuals. They have great banter and truly care about the wellbeing of your child. Every teacher, special shout out to Ms. Mason and Ms. J, truly make the difference. Ms. Mason is the reason my baby got over the potty training hump and Ms. J is the reason my baby loves going to school. Kind, well trained, professional, thoughtful, caring, patient - There isn't enough adjectives to describe this place. You have to experience it for yourself. You will not regret choosing the sunshine house.”

“My Son Saiyir Has Been Going This Day Care For Almost 2 Year I had the pleasure of enrolling my child in this daycare, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was evident that this daycare prioritizes the well-being and development of each child.The staff here is truly exceptional. They are not only highly trained and experienced but also genuinely caring and nurturing. It's clear that they love what they do and have a passion for working with children. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put my child at ease.The educational program is top-notch. My child has learned so much and developed important social skills during their time here. The curriculum is engaging and age-appropriate, and I've seen my child's creativity and confidence flourish.Safety is of paramount importance at this daycare. “Every center is in need of amazing teachers and with that comes with an amazing leader Ms Chelsie. This center is the best center out of all the Childcare Networks!!! I have been to three different locations in Georgia and #251 is that place to be. Anyone that is looking to work here, I highly approve, if you are just looking for a a job this isn’t the place for you!! If you are in need of a second place that feels like home meaning having fun, teaching amazing kids who makes you feel like they are your own, coworkers become family and I guarantee you this place doesn’t make you feel like it’s a job. Unless you don’t have a passion to work or isn’t passionate with working with kids then yeah this will be one of those jobs where you will not look forward to going to work. After reading some comments from the parents smh yall really be on some B.S.. I always say treat people how you want to be treated, at the end of the day I know these ladies at this center are very respectful and love your kids and want the best for them but do understand what gives you the right to talk to people any kind of way especially on the clock? Put yourself in that person shoes or better yet don’t. The way things are going these days people are acting crazy, let’s be mindful of how we need to communicate with respect especially at a center around kids. They learn from our actions”

“This is the second school my son has ever attended (I withdrew him from the first school the very first day) and since the first day, they made him and myself feel comfortable with him in their care. I love how attentive and responsive Ms. Tyeisha H. is! She makes sure to keep me updated on his progress. Ms. Sarah isn’t his teacher as of yet, but she always makes sure to speak to him in the hallway making him feel right at home. And Ms. Camaya has always been so nice and welcoming too.”

“I was so scared for my daughter to changed daycares being she had been in her old one from 6 months to pre-k. We changed daycares right before daycares her graduation and that also made me sad. But when I tell you she’s been there a year now and I love it! So happy with my decision for her before and after care and they treat my baby like family. Summer time they make sure the babies goes on trips and all.”

“All 5 of my daughters ages range from 6wks- 10yrs have attended Applegate Academy. My 3 oldest attended until preK and has been Straight A students since they left. My Kindergartener who just started school is at the top of her class, scoring in 1st grade category. Applegate is not only a daycare they are Family! The owner Stands on Business! She keeps it professional and plays no games about the Childern and their education. Every morning she takes time out to read to a class. I have witnessed this daily. Ms.Loretta is the nurturer of the facility. The teachers are Awesome!!! Applegate has never let me down. Did I mention I drive from MLK EVERY MORNING TO DROP MY BABIES OFF!! I pass a thousand other daycares but I know they are safe at Applegate while I’m working!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DAYCARE”
