Hands of Hope Clinic is absolutely amazing! Amanda, Connie, Dr. Althea and every single person that I have come in contact with during my services have been so kind, caring, respectful and genuine. It's such a positive energy environment that makes you feel so welcomed and cared for. It's some of the best service I have had in my life when it comes to health care and just customer service period. I am so grateful to have found Hands of Hope and so grateful for all that they do for the community. I appreciate them so much...they are just beautiful, caring people.

This is Victor and I wanted to commend Amanda, Connie, Dr. Althea and staff as consummate professionals. This is a Christian base facility adorned with spiritual affirmations that are visible throughout the practice to enlighten your day. They are Christians that do not mind praying for you and your challenges. Their services are top notch! The services available are primary care, free dental and mammography services just to name a few. The smell of the office is simply amazing! Some amenities that are available are free bibles, prenatal vitamins, vitamin C, can goods, condoms Vaseline, and other things!!! If you are truly in need and desire excellence in healthcare, New patient Applications are available outside the main door. Services are by appointment only and there’s isn’t any availability for walk-ins.

Lovely staff. I was able to get visits for medical, dental & vision. The appointments may take some time, but it's very affordable.

They wouldn't see me because my drivers license has my Clayton County address. Went to The Good Shepherd in Clayton County and they don't take the address on your driver's license as proof of where you live. They want an notarized letter that my kid's are helping me until my disability comes through in 2023. I'm in my 60's and cannot work anymore because of several long time health issues. That's ashame how a person is treated once your health starts to deteriorate.

I would have gave it a 5 star rating but the communication is terrible! If you call and leave a message no one gets back to you. If you send a fax for a prescription refill no one gets back to you. If you send a email no one gets back to you. They don't want people just popping in but you literally have no choice but to do so. Besides that its decent.

This is great resource for those who are uninsured and who could use the extra care as compassion. I think everyone could use the extra TLC.

I went to the Hands of Hope Medical Clinic in 2018 and I did not have a good experience there. Your doctor should be the go to person when you want to discuss health issues and when your condition gets worse that does not mean that a patient failed to manage their condition adequately.
It is possible that another treatment plan may be more suitable for a patient needs. Unfortunately, you have the doctors with the it’s-my-way-or-the-highway types still out there and if your condition is not getting better you are not following recommendations. That is my experience with the Hands of Hope Medical Clinic. All I wanted to do was find the answers I was searching for and find a doctor who was willing to work with me.
My last visit on 11/28/2018 was my last time going there. She did not believe that I was taking my medications. I took my medications as prescribed but she said she didn’t know what to believe. I stayed calm, but I told myself that this is going to be my last time coming here. We switched to a new treatment plan and that was that.
Just recently I looked up the side effects of the medication pill I was taking back then and I found out that I was suffering from this pills side effects.
Explaining and justifying myself to people who assume that I’m making stuff up or I’m in denial is tedious.
The Hands of Hope Medical Clinic also lost my Medicaid Denial Letter and told me to get a new one. I don’t know how you lose that but luckily I kept my copy in my files and showed them that.
