Avis was very accommodating during my recent rental. Twice I needed to extend my rental period, and they handled it smoothly and easily. This flexibility was a lifesaver and made my weekend less stressful ... The fact that it's female, African American owned & operated was a plus! ?

Went to this location to rent a car to be able to drive back and forth to work when I first got the Chevy Malibu the inside of it smelled like marijuana I really didn't think it was that big a deal because the smell would go away had it for 12 days and returned it early got my receipt saying $800 which is fine the next day I had a total of almost $1,300 charged and another 495 pending from Avis I went to the location and asked him what's going on they said they charged me for pet hair even though they were never no pets of mine in that vehicle so it was from a previous time remember I did say it smell like marijuana when I got it and then when I called customer service and they tried telling me Oh there's these other fees and I told them I have the receipt in my hand I don't know what you're talking about these other fees anyways they got to a point where they didn't want to work with me never use this place one of the worst car rental experiences I've ever had in my life

I’ve came to this location numerous of times, the customer service is always great and professional. The manager bethany always take care of me when I come and it’s never an issue when I come up here.

I regularly rent from this location and I always get fast and friendly customer service. Bethany always has a smile on her face and has alot of patience. Their cars are always clean and any issues I have are immediately addressed and handled to the best of their ability.

I had the worst experience at this location Sunday. Paid $400 on app for reservation last rental same way by app was just in December. When dropped off to pick up car they ran my debit card as credit and was told must use credit card or no car for me and I've been victim of identity theft so I don't use credit cards. I asked can you just run it again a second time as credit she refused and said you will get your money back minus 150 for canceling I was like can you do anything. Was told no, I said how about if I call my dad and he just uses his credit card over the phone? Absolutely not, that can't happen he must be here physically so we can see his driver's license. Needless to say I left with no car minus $150 out of 400. Went to Enterprise absolutely no issues with debit card. I will never ever ever use Avis again for anything.

This location sucks, including the unprofessional staff. Be aware, if you prepay because if they don't have it available you'll be charged extra.

BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT GO TO THIS AVIS LOCATION: These people rented me a dirty car that I had to go down the street to the Swifty Car Wash to clean then they turned around and charged me a $450 cleaning fee when I turned it in! Did I mention that this was the 3rd car they put me in that day! Originally I was given a 2023 Chevy Malibu. I went down the street to the Swifty Car Wash to clean it, the guy who works at Swifty informed me that the car was smoking, and sure enough I look and smoke is coming out of the front grill..I call Avis, they say bring it back, there goes the first $15 wasted cleaning that car! Let me mention that this location does the bare minimum when it comes to cleaning the interior of the vehicles and they do not clean the exterior at all! If you want to ride in a clean vehicle, you have to clean it yourself! When asked about this, I was informed that they don't wash their cars because the City of Stockbridge threatened to fine them! However, I can get the car washed myself and bring in the receipt and they will take it off the rental fees (WHICH THEY DID NOT and I didn't notice it right away, so there's that)! All they do is half vacuum some of the cars and a quick wipe down which I highly doubt they're even using proper cleaning materials to do so and they do not touch the inside windows at all! No actual cleaning of the vehicles at all! Again, this is something you have to do yourself if you want it done properly! Crazy ain't it..Only a Black Owned business in a predominantly black area would dare attempt such a feat! If I had not been dropped off with my 3 year old Granddaughter I would've just gone to a more professional location! Ok back to the story...I return the Malibu to Avis and they gave me keys to a Toyota Rav-4...it was filthy inside and outside, actually FILTHY is an understatement and the brakes were grinding! I didn't even leave the parking lot in it..I go back into Avis and tell them not only is the car completely filthy but the brakes are also grinding! While being told that was the only vehicle they had left, my 3 year old Granddaughter interrupts saying she needed to potty. I was informed by the clerk that there was a restroom in the DD's discount store nextdoor. So I leave and take my Grandbaby to the restroom and returned and miraculously they have another car. I'm assuming someone had just returned it...I'm then told that if this one doesn't work out they'd have to send me to the airport. They hand me the keys to a Toyota Camry, I go to check it out, it's dirty but doable, it looked like somebody half wiped down the inside, the floor mats were missing, the carpet was half vacuumed as in there was visible dirt on the floor, the interior windows were dirty and so were the cupholders, oh and there were finger prints all over the screen...the car was white so you could clearly see the dirty as hell exterior! I spray it down with Lysol and then proceeded to the Swifty Car Wash to tidy it up a bit...FF to January 22 and I return the car, mind you I cleaned the car when I got it and removed every piece of trash, paper foreign object from the vehicle before returning it (I even have Ring Camera footage of this taking place less than 1 hr before I returned the vehicle!). So I return the vehicle, cleaner than I received it, full tank of gas and no damage...I wake up the next morning and my CC has been charged an additional $450 Miscellaneous fee. I call the location and was told it was a cleaning fee and I told the girl that was a lie.TO BE CONTINUED....

My experience at this Avis was stress free , Bethany was so respectful when I picked up my vehicle and when I dropped of my vehicle. I will certainly rent from here again

This location is the WORST!! I only used them because they are around the corner from where I live . Trust me every time you use them you will be disappointed. They are unprofessional, no customer service skills. Cars are dirty, the daughter of the owner is always nasty and never knows any thing as to why their location never has cars there for your reservation. Please look at the reviews, so many 1 stars, I ‘m not sure how they remain open. I will not be renting from them again, I will have to choose another location. AGAIN ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. Go to another location!

I would never ever rent a car from this location again. Upon pick up the maintenance required notification was on, I had already been waiting 30 minutes to pick up the car. I was told the car I was previously going to receive was super dirty so I received a different car. But why wasn’t the car cleaned before pick-up? The pick up and drop off times are strictly enforced but I guess Avis can just waste my time as if that’s not valuable. Stains, scratches, dog hair, and left over food was in the car. It rained 6 hours out of our 8 hour trip to FL, and not to our surprise the wind shield wipers were in awful shape so we could barely see the whole time. This is the worst rental car that I have ever received. Considering all the bad reviews I’m not shocked, but shame on Avis for not looking into the issues customers are having. I will never rent from Avis again.

I WILL NEVER BOOK ANOTHER RESERVATION WITH AVIS. I booked a reservation two weeks in advanced for a rental car for the thanksgiving break. Today on 11/21/2023 I get a called stating to pick up my rental by 4:30pm tomorrow. Then I get another call maybe an hour later stating that they have no more rentals that is going to be available. My pickup date was the next day 11/22/2023. I was pissed. How can you call someone at the last minute and tell them to pick up rental by 4:30 then turn around and call them and state that they will have no rental for tomorrow. Ruined my thanksgiving trip to visit my family. NEVER AGAIN. I should have followed my first mind and book with ENTERPRISE. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK WITH AVIS AT THE LOCATION IN STOCKBRIDGE.UPDATE: I called Avis customer services the next and they accommodated me that same day at the AVIS location at the Airport. I also file a complaint on the AVIS in STOCKBRIDGE because they were absolutely wrong for how unprofessional they were. I got a chance to travel to see my family and enjoy the holiday after all.

I always have problems with Avis, one reason or another, that is why they gave me 1 free day. So I tried to use this certificate in Sept and ran into problems at the Airport, so I finally used it yesterday & used the certificate after waiting twice & in total on the phone for 1 hr 20 mins. ???. I called her & there is a 30 min grace period so I ate BF bcuz I have a Diabetes & I made sure & went over there at 10:30 & she still charged me 1 extra hour $56 whopping Dollar & did not even said anything. If she was gonna charge me an extra hour $56 then I might as well kept the car for a extra day? ????

Absolutely fantastic experience with Jessica!! Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor truly stood out. As a traveler in Atlanta I was not certain about the rental rules and I forgot to bring one of the documents needed. Store was approaching its close time, she told me to go get my thing and she would be there waiting for me. Jessica was very helpful and she made the entire rental process smooth and enjoyable. Thank you Jessica, you are a legend:))
