Ms Wright is one of the most humble, yet very professional and knowledgeable person in her expertise translating why Ameris Bank is the bank of choice. My Name is David M. Gentry and I would like to share my experience concerning check fraud in the sum of $4,955.67. I would like to start off stating that this was not caught in the 60 day time period I was advised I had when I called the Ellenwood Ga. Branch to advise them on this. This was not discovered until 11 months later. I take responsibility for that. My issues are, I was under the assumption with my security seal and the check fraud prevention with business accounts that I was protected. I was advised that a seal doesn’t matter and that I have to pay for fraud prevention that I later was advised that this isn’t true either. The account was never closed nor was I advised of steps to possibly help recover. I had stated I would seek legal advice to a branch manger at the Ellenwood, Ga branch as I had read that in fraud you had up to a year to make a claim. They, then stated later, it was with their attorney as I had stated I had retained a lawyer?!?! False! I would contact by phone or go to the Branch to see what their “Attorneys” findings were periodically as they stated he was investigating. They claimed they had no personal relationship with the attorney, yet on one occasion I was told he just got back from a week long vacation from Hawaii and would be hearing something soon on the investigation. I asked numerous times where the account was located so I could seek a police investigation. No response. Just the fraud took place at Truist Bank. After some months had passed and I was told I would not be getting my money back the last thing said to me, Literally, about knocked me out of my chair. The account is still active from the person who committed the fraud but “Our Attorney” advises us the 60 days had expired and there is nothing we will do. So a Financial Institution knowingly, or at least stated, they would not seek action nor call on my behalf to even see if this account was active at Truist Bank! That sounds like Fraud in itself. Was I angry? You bet you. This is why accounts will be closing on my behalf and hopefully others will follow suit. How in the world could someone even consider doing business with a Bank that wouldn’t go the extra mile for a customer that has conducted business for over 40 years. When my trust is broken so is the relationship with the company I am conducting business with………

Mrs Cindy, at the North Henry location is the bomb. I had some fraudulent charges on my account and she went above and beyond to get me a new card and to dispute the charges. If you bank with Ameris please don’t hesitate to thank you to Mrs Cindy for all of her hard work. THANK YOU Mrs Cindy!!!!!!

I totally enjoy every experience I have at Ameris Bank Stockbridge branch. Bianca White Assistant branch manager is always ready to help me anytime I come in. Every employee that works there weather inside or in the drive thru are super nice and always happy to assist.

Very unprofessional, Opened new Business account, they closed account randomly after one month. Telling us that we can’t sell cbd and D8 products. Literally waste of time, if you are planning on opening account here.
