America’s Best Value Inn in Stockbridge, GA, unfortunately, ranks among the worst hotels in terms of customer service. If you’re booking through a third-party website like Priceline, especially for an extended stay of more than two days, don’t count on receiving basic room service or clean towels during that time. The staff seems indifferent, and asking for necessities like fresh towels or any level of room maintenance appears to provoke irritation rather than assistance.
What makes matters worse is the feeling of blatant discrimination. If you’re of African descent or any other non-Arab ethnicity, expect to be treated poorly, with a noticeable lack of respect and hospitality. The staff’s dismissive attitude can turn what should be a relaxing stay into a frustrating experience. This is particularly shocking in the hospitality industry, where inclusivity and service are supposed to be a priority.
To top off the terrible service, I encountered a situation where I needed to extend my stay due to a major hurricane warning. Despite having already booked an extension through Priceline, the hotel refused to accept it, insisting that I pay their dramatically higher, walk-in rates. Their refusal to accommodate during a time of potential emergency added to the stress of an already unpleasant stay.
In the end, I had no choice but to check out early and find lodging at a nearby hotel, which treated me far better. If you’re considering staying here, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The lack of basic customer service, combined with discriminatory treatment and price gouging during emergencies, makes this hotel one to avoid.
Safety: This isn’t a safe neighborhood for travelers with kids.

Originally booked Sept 26-29th but arrived a day ahead and secured a room (Sept 25th). One would think I would be ok in the room but I was told I had to check out and come back.... Never experienced this at any motel or hotel in my 57 years. Add in the unkept rooms that aren't a true reflection of what the rooms truly look like. It appeared rather empty and lights without bulbs, no wifi, food on shelves, crumbs all over the floor and dirty towels under the sink. Plus I was called sir multiple times by staff. NO I'm not returning, I booked somewhere else and I'm losing money already spent but also I'd prefer a safer place that the door actually locks and with a staff that uses correct gender pronouns to identify customers. I'd advise you not to book more than 1 night as you will likely be disappointed and seek a room elsewhere like I'm doing.

Honestly I came there to stay the night with a friend and this place is so dirty the showers wasn’t even clean ?, the refrigerator was so rusted out, it was them red roaches ? it was not it ? ugh I hate to even leave a comment like this but it was terrible.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed and I have stayed in budget hotels alot within last 6 months.
I booked NON- SMOKING ROOM
Rooms are dirty, smelly,sticky floors, bed sheets with cigarette holes and stains and furniture all burned from cigarette and dirty.
Hairs on all towels and in bathtub and sink
Bathroom smelles like urine and cigarette smokes.
TILES IN BATHTUB YELLOW AND WITH DIRT AND MOULD.
Cockroaches everywhere!!!!

The front desk staff is very nice and helpful at check in time. The property is well clean and maintain. The rooms are very nice and upkeep. The floors are clean and the beds are made very neat, They have a lot of tv stations and the housekeeper staff is very nice. The staff is very professional and polite. The location is very safe and near a lot of stores, gas stations also. fast food places.. I enjoy my stay and I hope everybody else does.

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at ,the staff is disrespectful, they false advertised on there website and it should really be closed down, it's filled with drugs and bugs and the police constantly ride through. Never again will I ever stay there .
Rooms: Wasn't clean,floors were dirty and not swept and someone kept knocking on my door and window
Safety: People hang out all night and it's noisy
Walkability: It's very convenient to alot of restaurants

In a good location, but that is the only good thing that I have to say. Refrigerator had a leak and water was getting in the carpet!!! The curtain on the window was messed up!!!! Brought it to the attention of the night manager on duty and nothing was done to repair!!!! And no type of compensation for these issues were made!!! My first visit there and it was very disappointing!!!

horrible!!!!! I do not recommend it to anyone. The room is very dirty. The photos of the room do not match what they later show you.
The toilet had remains of diarrhea on the seat. When I went to ask to change rooms, the very unpleasant man at reception told me to get a sponge and clean it myself.

Passing through as we drive 956 miles.
Cheap room, got what I asked for, and would def stay again. Dude in office real nice and answered all my questions. Pool is gone, but otherwise a standard room to sleep in.

Rude staff, dirty rooms with harsh fluorescent lighting.
Rooms: Dirty floors and baseboards. Holes and stains on bedding. Threadbare towels.

Horrible experience the front desk receptionist should be fired. After needing somewhere to sleep from driving from Arizona accidentally booked the room for the wrong date. Already paid there was no accommodation the man asked me how could he help me and didn’t help. I strongly urge any and everyone not to book with this horrible staffed hotel. The parking lot is empty and an accommodation could have been made now my family and I are forced to sleep in the car.
