I think my hair was long enough to get medium braids in my hair they didn't take the time to really look at my hair to see how long it was but the did a good job I didn't like when they said 200.00 but when they got thu they said 240

My experience was horrible. The staff was not welcoming at all. The place was nasty and dirty. The women there are rude and lazy! Everyone was on their phones the entire time, walking around doing nothing, laying around on couches, eating, not washing their hands, etc! The lady that braided my hair dropped the comb on the nasty floor, picked it up and started back doing my hair! The chair I sat in was broken so it was very uncomfortable. It took the woman 10hrs 30mins just to braid my hair. She asked about 5 of the other girls to help her out and every last one of them said, NO! I was pissed! My hair was braided Saturday and removed by Thursday! What a waste of 220.00 + 20.00 tip! The braids were nice but she didn’t speak English and didn’t understand the style I wanted! I’ll never visit this place again!

Convenient appointments. Service was amazing. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she did exactly what I asked for but better. I love my braids. Price was affordable. The parts were neat and my head did not hurt.

Experience was bad. They were a hr late for my appointment and took all day on my hair mind you I got there at 10 in morn finished at 10 some at night. Also they didn’t give me the size I want and was very rude and was eating during the process . But the braids are neat.

Name a braider better than Mariam! She has been the best for me since she's been in statesboro at her first location by sparker. I absolutely love Mariam! She is beautiful, fine as ever and so down to earth. I highly recommend her for her services!!! I love my girl Mariam!!! I will forever come to her!

I contemplated about making this post because I always try to have and reflect a positive attitude!!! However, I went to Miriam African Braiding for a take down of my braids . The girl that took my hair down,cut my natural hair in the process. I noticed my ponytail were a little short but I knew it had to be comb out. When I got home and took my hair out for conditioning I was devastated.I reached out to the owner, she accused me and stated my hair was already cut before they touched it. I showed her pictures and recorded a video of how my ends were perfectly cut. After several calls and messages I was refunded.I know it’s just hair but it’s MY Hair and nobody wouldn’t dare understand what I had to endure to get my hair to that point. I’m WARNING others so Nobody Else is victimized with this experience.

Very unprofessional!! All they do is stay on their phones, talk all over and be spitting as they talk. Make customers feel uncomfortable. It use to be one of the best, now that the business is established , the service is poor.Service: Braids

I was very disappointed. I asked for micro braids, asked her did she have the hair she stated yes I have micro hair; after getting my hair done realized the hair that was installed was a synthetic blend hair. When I confronted her about it she said I would have to buy the hair I wanted pay for the mess they did to be taken and still pay the $200 I paid originally. No I would not ever return to her shop. The very first time I visited her shop they were next door to sparklers , just getting their business going. Then they were humble and professiona now they're rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate.Service: Braids
