I always shop in here for my lashes or hair tools but after yesterday I was in absolute shock after the store owner Mrs. Kim harassed me and my friend by following us around in the store with out ever asking if we needed any help with anything she stood there over us shoulder to shoulder just staring at us as if we were going to steal making us both very uncomfortable. We felt very violated and which the manner she handled us in such a degrading and discriminating way I have never ever stolen anything from her in life and neither had my friend and always spend money in there but after yesterday NEVER AGAIN !!! I am aware that racism still exists but It is 2024 and It's not often I experience It in such an aggressive way. My friend whispered to me " This is why I don't like to come in here" then Mrs.Kim yelled at us for us to both leave and to never come back and that we were banned. When my friend asked why ? She said I heard what you said and repeated to us to get out and that we are banned both of us. And said also no purses allowed in here I did not even realize I had my purse because it's not everyday the very object that holds my money is not allowed into a store. I never said anything and she never said anything to Mrs. Kim just whispered to me stating why she does not care to come in here but she was so close staring at us as if we were stealing she over heard her stating that due to her making us very uncomfortable It was obvious why she was treating us that way! BECAUSE IF OUR SKIN COLOR! Being African American has It's challenges but to not be able to shop in a beauty supply store meant for African Americans because of the owners racism is really heart breaking to know the very people who spend money in her store get treated so poorly and are viewed in such an ill manner is disturbing at the least. Btw we were looking at lashes that were locked up so there was no way we could have stolen them even if we wanted too she would have to unlock them for us to receive them and pay for them. Please save your money and shop at Sallys or Ulta It is not worth the poor customer service or harassment you will endure while shopping here. It is also sad how you cannot address her harassing you by following you around the store to her or how It makes you feel uneasy or scared or she will ban you. This store needs to be shut down especially after minutes before this all happened a guy literally tripped over boxes her store is a hazard It is so much stuff in there and very little space to move. With no windows or fire exists just in case.

I love this beauty supply store! They are so nice and sweet and they really try to help find what you need. If you’re moving out to statesboro for school pleaseee go to this place. Plus the items are cheaper and the awesome service!
