Food Lion in Statesboro has horrible management and employees They allow their workers to curse at the customers and disrespect them. The bakery worker on June 29th 2024 cursed out a customer for asking why the price she was told was different from the sticker price. Then a male employee came up and began to yell at the woman who was with her husband and 3 children. Her husband told him he was not arguing with him it was their daughters birthday and they weren't going to let them ruin it as they walked to the register. The employee then fallowed them telling the father to meet him out side the store so he could beat him up. The father told him he was going out their when he finished transaction but he wasn't going to fight with him but he would protect himself and his family. The manager finally stepped in and told the couple she wasn't going to allow them to threaten her work. I could not believe it. After all her employees had done and how they acted she stepped in when the dad said he would defend himself. Horrible!!! Then gave them the Cake and other items to get them out the store like they were the problem. I hope they sue And the employees lose their jobs. I will never shop there again. I hope this compy has to pay th lots of money for the way they treated thin and traumatized their young children. If I could give negative stars I would.

Reasonably priced and always have good sales but you all can’t fry chicken worth nothing in the deli. No wonder it’s cheap. SMH. The breading had a sweet taste ?! Never again.

Always a joy visiting this store. I especially appreciate the customer service here above a good-few other stores both here and in Savannah.
Food Lion continues on the path of excellence in customer service, clean store, easy shopping, easy to find groceries and a friendly/helpful staff.

I can always find what I need. The store is always clean and someone is always willing to help. I always know where the item is I need and they don't continuously change the store around and items are always stocked. I would rather go here than other big stores that really act like they could care less that you need help with an item.

If you are looking for a variety of good fresh meat, this is the store. They offer a pick 5 for $25 for a meat package. When it comes to meats, to me they have the cheapest prices than other stores. Now, when it comes to other food items, I go to Walmart, bc they prices are a little cheaper as far as cangoods, etc. When it comes to their produce, it always fresh. Their Deli food is very good. I haven't seen one person complain yet about it; so if you're looking for some good lunch food, I will suggest their deli, which they do switch the menu daily. Last but not least, their employees are always friendly and quick to offer help if you look like you are looking for something.
