We just adopted our dog from here and we love him so much! He’s the best addition to our family and the staff was so helpful. They sent us home with lots of toys for him and two beds! Thank you so much for everything!

There was a small kitten looked like it was sleeping on my driveway, turns out it’s not alive, i call this animal center and the lady tells me they don’t pick up stray cats, proceeds to tell me to reach out to the humane society, they are only open on saturday so that’s not an option..
everyone else says animal control will pick it up, i called back and she got my information but no call back or anything. Nobody wants to help out, it’s just my problem to deal with.
They could have definitely been more helpful and suggest things for me to do.

Amazing place run by great people. We traveled from Dublin,GA to look for a cat and found a great one. We were greeted when we walked through the door and happily taken to see the cats. My wife was attracted to one and particular and we adopted a year old cat she named Willow! We had been to three other places and no one treated us as nice as Bullock county animal services!

A big shout out to Abigail and Charlie ( a Georgia southern student volunteering his self ) for making Aubree's and my first time volenteering so wonderful. Lots of lovely animals and the place is so clean and the animals so well taken care. Thank you and see you soon. Can't wait. Aubree &Nana

if you’re a student you have to show medical documentation and they failed to inform us that a cat we adopted had a very serious heart murmur. then they tried to make it seem like we were wrong for bringing him back. they told us that putting a stethoscope to his chest was “extra” money and not apart of the services they do for the animals when they come.

I've had a stray dog sitting on my porch for 5 days and I've called to report this every day and this place claims there hasn't been any cases filed for my address. Typical statesboro establishment taking no responsibility and no Initiative to do the job they're paid to do. Everyone here wants a paycheck and nobody wants to do the work. Dog is going to starve right here on my porch and it's ridiculous

All of the Officers have been nothing but professional and show they care. I have been to an adoption event hosted by the Animal shelter and they all have a passion for animals. Officers Joey, Ajsha, Nathan, and Amber are always polite and willing to help. Great job BCAC

I did not have a pleasant experience using this shelter. I had a super tiny kitten wander in my yard on Friday evening, dirty with part of one of its ears missing and clearly starving. I saw that they weren’t open until Saturday, so I took the kitten in and gave it some soft food for the night and hoped it would make it through. Saturday morning comes and I go up there early, where a blonde girl tells me to come back at 12 and they would see if they could help. I head back up there and speak to the same blonde girl, to which she says we need to see if this kitten has been microchipped or not. The kitten was in the back of my car in a crate to she followed me. The girl peeked inside the crate for 2 seconds and said that the part of its ear that was missing was done by a vet meaning the cat is fixed and needs to be released back into the woods to be apart of the “feral cat community”. I am aware vets do this, but this cut on his ear wasn’t like that. Mind you, she did not touch the cat, examine the cat, check and see if the cat had any scarring from being fixed, none of that. So I asked if the cat was even old enough to be fixed, because this cat was clearly super super tiny, to which she said yes and repeated that he needs to be released. I, then had this kitten looked at by a local vet friend, and they said this cat had not been fixed and that vets do not do the ear clippings this deep and this cat was way too little to be fixed. This girl was clearly just shooing us away and didn’t bother to be thorough at all with us about anything.
