I got my hair done Nov 6 for a trim and wash & I wasn’t satisfied unfortunately. My hair is mixed so I know I have a lot of hair and it can be time consuming for a service. I can’t remember my hairstylist name but I came in explaining to her that I really wanted to find a black owned salon that specializes in natural hair because from what I’m used to they don’t do my trim right at all. Throughout the service the stylist was saying that I had a lot of hair (which i understand) and she shampooed only twice did but didn’t lather it well and didn’t even let the conditioner sit. Throughout the styling process she then tells me that she couldn’t wash my hair good enough because I don’t shampoo my hair well at home (which i told her I wash my hair atleast twice a week), and that she won’t be able to style my hair how to want because of that. Which I was disappointed in but I didn’t complain. As she’s flat ironing, she didn’t put any heat protection on my hair so my hair was burning and as it was smoking she kept coughing making me feel bad and says I’m the reason while my hair is smoking and she washed my hair four times which she DIDNT wash it four times. She started trimming I absolutely hated it afterwards it didn’t even look like I got my hair done. I could’ve did that at home. When I left the salon my hair was still greasy and comparing to what I’m used to with the wash I never leave with greasy hair. So after the stylist made me feel bad about my hair a couple days later I cut all my hair off. It’s crazy how your own people make you feel after everything black women go through about their hair. This is probably the worst experience I ever went through with a salon resulting into me cutting all my hair off.

This is by far the best place to get your eye brows done in statesboro! I am very picky about where i get my eye brows done and ms. Davita is the best!! She is so sweet and my eyebrows always look amazing
