Dennard's Drugs claims to serve the needs of the local community and their families. However, Denise (pharmacist) on duty refused to fill my prescription, stating that "the medication is limited to existing customers." Odd, but it is a small independent pharmacy in a small town, so that seemed reasonable and I returned to my parents' house to continue visiting with my family for the week.
My mother told my father (a lifetime resident) and he called Dennard's. He was told to send me back up there, ask for her and she would help me. Upon arrival, I asked for Denise and she stated that she never spoke with him. At that point, she proceeds to yell, "Did anyone talk to (father's name)?" and disappears behind the counter. A moment later, she returns, yelling, "She doesn't care who called up there she isn't filling it!!"
A simple no, I don't feel comfortable would have been more than sufficient. Unfortunately, Denise chose to be unprofessional in front of other staff members and customers.
I hope this review will set a standard for customer service and that no other family members are treated with such animosity and disregard.
**NOTE** I understand that certain medications are strictly controlled and that many pharmacists are not comfortable filling controlled medications for people outside the local area. (I'm down from Atlanta visiting my parents).***

I'm a 66 year old veteran. I have hearing problems.My first time ever going there. It was yesterday .It was busy and loud apparently the lady that was trying to help me was having problems understanding the information i was trying to givr her and the prescription. I started talking louder so she could understand me when I did the big behind the cash register up top hollered at me in a hateful tone of voice with a hateful look and told me not to talk loud and I'm like it's loud in here I was only trying to get a prescription for someone out of town and I was from out of town.And it wasn't my fault they couldn't find the prescription they had filled 2 days earlier . I guess if you are local your treated good. I was not treated good at all. You couldn't pay me to ever go back in that store. I wouldn't recommend doing business there to anyone. I'll never go back. If I lived there I'd drive out of town to keep from doing business there.

Have not been here, but hear me out. The customer service is phenomenal! Had a package that was supposed to be delivered by UPS in Macon but it somehow made its way to dennard drugs. They worked on finding our phone number and reaching out a couple times and we finally connected. They had a driver bring it directly to our door three months after we gave up hope on the package (which had over $400 of inventory for our store). Any place that goes this far above and beyond is any place I would shop at. I can't even express how grateful we are and how helpful and amazing they are. The individuals involved are probably the best people ever!

The hardware store was well stocked and really saved us! We needed an adapter for our camper. I called and they were very polite and had what we needed. Awesome little store. They had a bit of everything!

This is a small shop back home that I always deliver flowers and birthday gifts to my mom when I’m not there. They recently delivered her the Mother’s Day gift I sent to her. They always have nice things and selections for delivery.

The pharmacist was very helpful and polite. I was having trouble with my insurance card and she helped me get it sorted out with no problem.

The staff was very helpful and polite when trying to place a floral delivery from out of state. They were quick with the delivery and very reasonable with pricing. Thank you Dennards for saving the day.

Went in there and nobody even asked if we needed help. I was in there for 10 minutes and walked out even walking out no one even acted like there cared. So went down the road towards Swainboro.

I've known Mr Richard Denard over 20 years as I have his son Blake! They are not only fine pharmacists but 2 of the most caring compassionate people I've ever met! If I have questions they answer them immediately in language you understand and there's never a long wait for your meds their staff is on the ball with this! You can find just about anything you need here delivered with a smile! Try Dennards Pharmacy you won't be sorry 20 years later im certainly not!!!
