Got an oil change this week
They changed my oil very reasonably priced and we discussed future tire purchases. I have always liked this place. Nice to have a trusted company like this right here in our little town.

I hate to leave this review as the lady who runs the front desk is very kind. I’ve taken several of my vehicles to this shop and unfortunately will not be anymore. One of my vehicles had an over heating issue that seemed to elude the mechanics on what the issue was. After a few visits I was advised had either a blown head gasket or warped head. I was quoted $2,000-$3,000 depending on the issue. Being as the vehicle was not worth that much I declined.
I let the vehicle sit and months later had another certified mechanic look at it. He determined it was not a blown head gasket rather a worn out thermostat. He replaced the thermostat and I had him replace the water pump for preventative maintenance. 2 things really disappoint me. 1. During one of my visits I asked TDS to replace the thermostat, it was never replace and luckily I was not charged as I have the receipt. 2nd their mechanics obviously did not go through a process of elimination to find the issue. I could have been out $2k-$3k if I told them to do the work. I waited a couple months to post to this to make sure the issue did not come up and I have no over heating issues. Please use caution.

We were new to the area when we first used TDS for a minor repair. We have been so impressed with their knowledgeable staff, quality service and prices that we have continued to use them for all our auto/tire repair needs. Due to the positive, experience we have had I will continue to refer anyone in need of auto services to TDS Auto Repair!

Best shop in the best service I’ve ever experienced. I will never take any of my vehicles anywhere else. They did some work on my Trans Am for me, replace the crank balancer, and a few other things. There pricing a work can’t be beat. I wouldn’t take my car to another shop, even if the work was free because I know I would not have the sense of security I have with TDS. Being a mechanic myself, I would have to go over any work that I have done anywhere else like checking that everything is to the right torque specs, checking parts replaced or fluid levels an I would still feel uncomfortable in the back of my kind if I didn’t do it myself but this is the one shop I don’t have to feel that way with an they definitely feel right at home. I’mA union electrician an a lot of times I do not have time to even charge my oil an it’s nice to have them.
