I once handled my taxes using a well-known tax software and consistently ended up owing a significant amount each year. When it became too complex, I switched to American Family Tax Services in Social Circle and was stunned by the substantial refund I received, even without altering my withholdings. I've been a client for six years now, and my only wish is that I had made the change earlier. They're incredibly friendly and make the tax process enjoyable. It's not every day you hear 'taxes' and 'enjoyable' in the same sentence!

10/10! I look forward to handling my tax needs with this business next year, but for now I wanted to commend Mercedes from the Social Circle location for amazing customer service. Last week, I was online looking for personal loans and American Family Tax Services somehow came across my list of lenders. This was on the latter end of my search for the day, so I was exhausted and at that point hastily making calls (while also dealing with a tired toddler). I didn’t read what services they actually offered before calling. Once connected with Mercedes I made my inquiry and she informed me that loans are not a service offered there. What I took notice of was how pleasant she made the whole encounter. It seems I’m often met with sarcasm or abruptness whenever little mistakes like this happen. I take it with a grain of salt usually but it’s still nice to know that there is still genuine customer SERVICE out there. Even with a screaming 2 year old in my background and her more than likely being at the end of her business day, she managed to even make a reassuring “we all have those moments” comment before telling me to have a great day and getting off the line. I know this seems a bit long winded, but she was able to remind me that even the smallest gestures can make a difference in someone’s day.

Mercedes has been so helpful! I made a mistake with TurboTax and went to American Family Tax for help and they have been without a doubt super helpful and thoughtful throughout the whole process, definitely learned my lesson about doing my own taxes and will only use American Family Tax Services for now on, especially Mercedes!!

This the first time we have used American Tax Services in Social Circle. We normally spend hours working on them ourselves. This year we had a very complex situation and were extremely worried about the bottom line. We shouldn't have been! Mercedes made the process so simple. We dropped everything off and in a couple of days she was finished and with good news! And, the price was extremely reasonable. We will be back next year! No more toiling over the paperwork for us. :)

This is always the best place to complete just a tedious and dreadful task. We worked with Mercedes last year and she was so helpful and very welcoming. Taxes can be pretty overwhelming, but not with her help. Always a pleasure!
