My experience with this academy for Pre-K was not great. At first they seemed accommodating by calling from the waiting list to state a spot became available. I came up there turned in my paperwork and brought whatever forms necessary for my child to start. I had to call up there the day before school started for my others kids and bring a booklet back for them to tell me there was a dress code, the start time etc.I asked questions and also gave info about my child and I never felt so judged but that day I felt uncomfortable by the way this person looked at me as I was talking. The first day of school was yesterday and I had some family issues, so my child did not attend the first day. I received no call, no communication from them. I called today to find out that my child no longer had a spot and was back on the waiting list. I would do my research on any location but especially this one. This school communication is poor and did not take accountability. I would not recommend this school to the parents I know, I knew it wasn’t meant for my child to go here. You might want to reconsider and do your research.

Update 2/22/22: Our daughter has been attending La Petite Academy since the beginning of August 2021. She has had a great experience there. We love the teachers and feel very confident in their care. Our 3 year old is also attending now for Daycare and has had a similarly great experience.July 2021: I’ve had a great experience with this school so far. My daughter will be attending GA Pre-K there, starting this week. The orientation we had at the school was well run by the Director Ms. Terri and her team. They have been working hard to paint and update the school since she recently took over. My daughter hasn’t attended yet since school hasn’t started but I will update my review at that point. So far, so good!

My husband went this morning to drop my son, but the teacher who was there did not even acknowledge that my son was there. She did not greet him or give him any instruction as to what to do or where to sit down. He grabbed something from one of the tables and accidentally dropped a bottle of water and spilled it but the teacher didn't care and did nothing. It is unwelcoming and unprofessional. I feel the place is unsafe for my child.

I have had both of my children at La Petite since they were babies for daycare. It is an excellent quality daycare that is clean and affordable and reliable. The director makes sure to keep my children safe and neither of them have ever been sick with any major illness. I recommend this daycare to anyone who has young children in snellvile. As a physician I have been able to witness their cleanliness and professionalism toward the safety of my children

My child has been going here since she was 6 months and I can definitely tell the difference in growth since it has been under its current management. The director, Mrs. Pearlene addresses all issues and concerns in a timely manner. It will be bitter sweet next year when my daughter has to leave because she will be going to Kindergarten. Thanks for all you ladies and gents do at LA Petite to make every parent and child's experience a great one!

Since my child has been attending to this daycare, there are so many flaws. First, every morning my child has to sit up front along with other kids which is unsafe. They sit near the front door which could prevent them to walk out if someone open the door, they would be the first to get injury or harm in any incident.. The lead teacher Mina allows her son to use the tablets in the morning but when my child ask for one she would say the tablets are dead. They have a secure door entrance to the classroom, but the kids sit up front or stand because there is no seating for them. Second reason, staff is not monitoring the kids on the playground or there is one teacher to 15 kids and they can't see how children are name calling or hitting others. However, my child they write up quick because she can't control her angry when someone else picks on her or bullying her and she throws a chair. Then that is the part they don't see when kids will start the incident . My child is an honor roll student and smart and loves to read. When she tell a teacher someone is bothering her they do absolutely nothing until she get picked on again. Then my child gets upset and throw a item and cries. The problem will still arise with other children when my child is out of this school. So many times I told the director about her staff and she has no leadership with her staff...she even notices her staff, Mina eats on the floor while working. If you director sets a bad example then she leads by example.

I love this daycare. My son is almost 3 and has Ms. Deshonda and Ms. Jerrica taking care of him typically and they always are attentive to my son. Mary the director and Tiffany the assistant director have been nothing but kind and understanding of my needs for my son in regards to his care. They communicate thoroughly about how he does and they even update me throughout the day on an app (with pictures included) I switched him to this daycare from another one and I have had almost no issues. Their menu is healthy (no juice or processed sugars), they have a day called "stretch and grow" to promote health and fitness and my son loves it. I can drop him off for the day and feel completely at ease knowing that all of my sons needs are met and that I won't have to worry about the teachers because they truly do care. I can't praise them enough. He's been going for about 8 months. The rates are fair (and they provide diapers and lunch!) And the curriculum is amazing. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who wants more than just a daycare for their child, because they really do go above and beyond.

Wanted to share my experience about this daycare lapetite Academy in Snellville Georgia my granddaughter has been attending this daycare since March initially when she began she was being bitten all the time and coming home with scars the last time she was biten in the head this was brought to the teacher and the directors attention Had to be resolved at the district manager level who requested that she be separated from the child that was biting her about a month ago my daughter and I pulled up in the parking lot a little earlier than usual and as we were sitting in the parking lot we witnessed a toddlers who is looking out of the window was snatched by the arm of a daycare provider aggressively we went in there to report this to the director immediately because it was a very aggressive approach on the Toddler. last week (Thursday)my granddaughter told me she was pushed in the chest by a teacher I asked her did it hurt she said yes I said did you cry she said no i said what did you say I told her I want my mommy when we ask who the teacher was by her just turning four pronunciation wasn't clear so we we approach the Director mary and brought it to her attention who then investigated was told by the director that she asked my granddaughter who pushed her in the chest and my granddaughter pointed out the provider Britney only to find out it was the same teacher (Brittany)who had previously snatched-the toddler by the arm very upset by this and alarmed reported it to the district manager Scott Renner who asked me to send the email ( last Friday)about what I witnessed sent him the email no response my daughter call the director Monday left a message for her to return the call no response so we have We specifically asked that Brittany not be in the class with my granddaughter I was told by the director Mary that she was going to be her pre-K teacher until they find one. We have officially removed my granddaughter from the school my concern is webfeel like the school did not address our concerns. As of today still have not received a response from no one my concern is that this is the same teacher who snatched the toddler by the arm and the same one Brittany who pushed my granddaughter in the chest and no one has reached out to us as of yet very very alarming would not suggest anyone put the a child in the daycare especially if they can't tell you what's going when I initially brought the incident to the directors attention she tried to sweep it under the rug and said maybe she accidentally pushed her in the chest how do you accidentally pushed the Toddler in the chest I guess the same way you accidentally snatched one by the arm
