The General Manager is so rude, with a very dismissive attitude. As I was talking to him, he was waving his hands like I didn’t matter. He’s very rude to the members and doesn’t not greet members when entering. I was simply trying to talk to him about my membership. And the type of aggression is his voice really bother me. A new GM is needed!

Been a member for about a yearDefinitely an old-school feel..Front desk staff mostly ambivalent except for the young lady with long braids that is so pleasant.Machines always have plates left on them. Equipment old but well kept.The best thing about this gym is Dwight. He is always working .Actually, he’s the only person I ever see doing anything except for the young lady .Dwight Always has a smile . Even reminded me today that my year is up soon.Thanks for having a couple people that care about your gym working there.Employees like those 2 are worth a lot to your business and probably keep your retention rate higher than it would be without them.

Enjoyed the gym while I was there for work, didn’t know they had the scam tactics of only allowing you to cancel in person or by letter.. when your moving to a new state or out the country in my case. The last thing you think about is walking into the gym to cancel your membership or sending a letter when you work 80 hours a week.. it’s a bad way to handle business. And people need to know that this gym is okay until you need to leave.

Same complaints previously expressed in post below (operations manager promised to find a solution.. and we determined that was a lie) RED FLAG There was no one in office for my sister and I to sign up. A complete waste of time. We weren't allowed to tour the facility nor able to inquire about prices. The front desk staff Kaywon was nice and pleasant but had no information to give. I feel bad for the position you've guys placed him in. I should've read the reviews prior to driving to this facility.. between the complaints about the mangers anger problem and the unprofessional behaviors throughout the building I'm dogging a bullet.. don't be like me, read the reviews and don't waste your time or money.

I was looking for a new gym and came in to World Gym to see if I could workout, understand membership prices or to even check out the facilities and was told by the front desk associate that the sales manager wasn't in so even if I wanted to sign up i couldn't because the sales rep wasn't in yet today (its almost 11 am) and there was nothing the front desk associate could do....imagine calling yourself having a business and turning people away because you don't have people who can provide basic services/information for people who are willing to spend smh don't waste your gas trying to come workout over here

I absolutely love this gym! I go every morning before work (which is around 5:30am) and every time I walk in the door there is someone there to welcome me and says good morning with a smile! the gym has everything you could ever imagine and the staff is great! I highly recommend!

Its an older gym but its not a bad gym. They offer personal training, I believe the first session is free. There is child care as well which is pretty cool for parents. There are quite a few of separate work out rooms for classes like yoga, cardio and then rooms for HIIT training, Boxing, and even a movie - cardio room. The movie cardio room plays movies and its mostly dark and you can just cardio out while a movie plays on the big screen. There is a nice sauna in the locker room as well. Theres some equipment that some other gyms may not have and then some of the equipment is older and can be updated but overall the equipment does work and is very useful. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

As a long time member of this gym, I'm very disappointed in the office staff customer service. Definitely not the friendly nature of the staff from the past. There are certain individuals (Tom, Jay) that have a rude, unwelcoming, cold disposition. I realize I have choice to continue to patronize this facility but ownership needs to know that customer service is below standards.

Seems nice when you enter. Lots of equipment and not that busy which was great. Nice gentleman showed me around. Looking closely at the place, it is very grungy, dirty and old. The equipment is cracked and in need of repair. It's evident that the owners of this gym live in the past. The photos on the wall are all 10 years old + .. there is space to work out which is nice, and the cardio cinema is nice except that the equipment seems ancient.Then came the hard sell. They sell old school style. Lock you into a contract.. and offer a paid in full that MORE EXPENSIVE than the monthly. I was shocked at the prices. It's the most expensive gum in Atlanta. I laughed as I walked out the door. 700$ a year is terribly expensive for a dirty place in such need of repair. It's close to home, but I will have to keep searching.

Be warned!! The worst gym ever. I wish I could give 0 stars!!! Tom is the absolute worst because all of my interactions with him shows he has no customer service skills. I sat in the guy’s office and he entered my info in his computer (or should I saw he “pretended” like he was canceling my membership) to cancel my membership 3 months before it renews. Only to still be charged and sent a letter in the mail that I owe them money and when my next payment was due. I had to file a claim with my bank and enforce a stop order payment. After my third time calling the gym I finally spoke to the manager who confirmed the old guy never canceled my membership!!! Seriously!! I asked the manager to email me confirmation that my membership is canceled and no further billing will be attempted.

Jay Jordan has an unhealthy angry disposition. He is not welcoming to new people wanting to get healthy. I was treated very badly by him. I joined another gym where people are much nicer and welcoming.

They refused to let my 9 month pregnant daughter use the restroom even though she was there with member who had her as a guest.... The night crew is gonna have this in a lawsuit ASAP

Refuses to communicate via phone about membership pricing and facilities. Requires you to waste your time coming in. Ridiculous practice and lost a customer because you just won't talk to me on the phone when I have the time to talk.

Jay Jordan, operations manager, does absolutely nothing to encourage people to join this gym. He has an unhealthy angry demeanor.
