I love this store, it's right down from where we live so it's convenient but they have a great variety of stuff for all your pets needs, my pup has allergies and they have just what I need to give her! Very friendly staff and if you're in the market to add a new pet they a several, even some older kittens for adoption!

I adopted a kitten who had a mark above her eye and behind her ear. I ask the associates about these marks and they said it was just from playing. After a week, I noticed these marks were not getting better. I reached out to a vet who then confirmed it was Ring worm with PCR. I have let this pet store know and have checked with them, and have never been told any thing they are doing to help prevent this in the future. Please be cautious purchasing from this store, as I do not believe they are truly educated. (I learned this 500$ later).

I went to have my dog's yearly vaccination at this location and the VIP Petcare doctor was the worst! I have a miniature poodle and they tried to use a large needle on him to draw blood. Of course this didn't work and in effect my dog had to suffer. Then they decided to use a small needle and this worked with no problem. Afterwards they told me the next time my dog needs his blood drawn to tell the vet to use a small needle. Ummmm isn't this obvious? Why in the WORLD would you use a large needle on a miniature dog? I hope they suffer just as much as my poor pup did.

Main reason why I came here was to get the dog updated on her shots using the traveling veterinarians. I'm not going to rate the animal doctors (although they did a really good job), but I will rate Pet Supermarket because I shopped while waiting for Suki's turn with the animal docs. Pet Supermarket is a medium size, standalone store. It has its own free parking lot and customers should always be able to find available parking spaces. I saw employees and customers all wearing face masks and social distancing as much as possible. Pet owners can bring their fur babies inside, so this kind of disrupts social distancing, since many of the dogs like to check each other out. If you're not looking for specific brands, you should be able to find suitable pet supplies here. Unfortunately, I was looking for IAMS Senior Dog Food, which this business doesn't carry. I saw mostly high end dog food brands with hefty prices. No thanks. They sell limited kinds of pets here too, like small birds (mostly parakeets with nice colors), aquarium fish, hamsters, a chinchilla and some reptiles. The prices on all of these looked expensive. Many of the other pet supplies that I saw (travel carriers, kennel/cages, leashes, etc.) looked good in quality and were decently priced. Pet Supermarket was just OK.

It's an affordable way to keep your pets basic but important health up! He was a little anxious! The vet techs are very good. Especially one guy from Africa. You can tell he really cares about the animals. I wish I had gotten his first name.

Warning: long negative review. Don't come here It's horrible customer service. My husband and I went in to get some crickets. An employee name Brian seemed bothered to get it for us. All we needed was a few crickets we asked for 4 big ones and 2 small. we didnt know they go by a dozen. The pet store down the street can do a few crickets like 6 or however you need which is convenient for some pet parents. But we asked for 4 and he said "4 dozen" we got confused as he kept putting more and more in the bag. So we told him oh we just needed a few of them. He said "oh they go by a dozen. So we just ended up with a dozen. But the fact that he seemed annoyed that he had to take out a lot of crickets is just rude. He had an attitude. We asked if he could put calcium on the crickets but theres barely any in there. I work in customer service, an employee shouldn't have headphones in his ear. If he didn't have those headphone he would've heard "4 crickets and 2 small ones" on top of having an attitude. I get it they're there to make money but its a work place and your job to meet the customers need when they go into a store. The vibe as we walk in just seemed negative. Its not just Brian its just the vibe there is negative every time i walk in. And he tied the knot to the bag too tight. Let me save you some time and go to Pet Supplies Plus down the street. They're nicer and the crickets are cheaper there too. This will be the very last place i go to if i have no other choice. Specifically this location.
