My 3 month old started Tutor Time at the end of March. On his 3rd day, I gained access to the livestream in the infant room. At 12:30pm I checked in to see how he was doing and saw that he was crying in his crib. Not alarming at first as I understand that the teachers have multiple infants to take care of and can't drop everything to tend to my child. However, after 10+ minutes of him crying, I became concerned as all of the other babies were fine with some of them doing tummy time with one teacher and another taking Easter pictures with the other teacher. I saw the lead teacher walk past his crib multiple times without even acknowledging him. I decided to call the school and talk to the lead teacher to understand their protocol. After asking why my child hadn't been comforted yet, she said they were busy taking Easter pictures... I asked why isnt' a crying child a higher priority than taking pictures and asked when the last time my child had eaten since his last feeding had not been marked in the app. (Teachers are supposed to update the app regularly to let parents know when your child has last eaten, napped, and had a diaper change. They had only marked he had started nap at 11am and he'd been there since 7:30am.) She said she didn't know when he had last eaten and that she had just gotten back from break and maybe a different teacher had fed him. I found this to be unacceptable. She then said she would prepare his bottle to feed him. I watched her pick him up and instead of soothe him since he was crying pretty bad at that point, she held him tightly in a rocking chair. I saw his arms and legs flailing wildly around which I had never seen him do before and I became quite concerned. At that point, I decided that I wanted to remove him from Tutor Time and take him home. While I waited for my partner to arrive at the school, I continue to watch via the live stream. I saw the lead teacher begin updating the app and I began receiving notifications on when he was last fed, nap, etc. She marked that his nap had ended at 11:46 am so I can only infer that my child had been crying to for about an hour by the time I logged into the live stream at 12:30pm. She also marked he had a hard BM which is impossible as my 3 month old is only drinking breastmilk. I can only assume she confused him with another child. I also saw both teachers handle infants inappropriately. One pulled a baby by the arms on the mat to move them out of the way so she could sit down. I saw the other one pull a baby by the arms to remove them from a crib. I decided at that point that I wanted to unenroll my child.I did speak to the Director of Tutor Time of Smyrna as well as the District Manager. Both did apologize to me and said that this was not how their teachers are trained and that they would communicate that to the infant teachers. Unfortunately, I was no longer comfortable with my child attending that school and being in the care of those two infant teachers.Other issues I came across:- Enrollment was difficult. We would receive different answers by staff on how to reserve a spot for a child and received different start dates.- On the first day of enrollment, we weren't greeted by anyone or introduced to the teachers.- The infant teacher didn't seem to have any interest in learning about my child's habits. I had to ask for a piece of paper to write some things down that I thought would help her.

We were supposed to start our daughter here, and on the first day of drop off the Director yelled and berated us in the lobby, for THEIR poor communication about enrollment and tuition fees. (They didn't even know today was our daughters first day, despite us paying the registration fee online, per their instructions.) Even when we told her that no one effectively communicated to us that tuition was due on first day, even after we told her we had it available right then and there, but that no one had verbally communicated that, the Director's response was "We have a million things to do," and proceeded with horrible attitude, no accountability for the bad communication and would not deescalate even after many attempts to. She ultimately said "We can't do this," after pulling in another administrator to try to back her up about her unprofessional and negative demeanor, and when I asked about when would I expect to receive a refund for our Registration, she simply said, "You'll get it back..." This was a truly disheartening experience, especially when dropping off our toddler on what should be a seamless and positive first day. If she can talk to our family this way, I fear how they may talk to our babies who may not be able to speak up for themselves. BEWARE of a childcare facility that doesn't pride themselves in a good customer service and positive onboarding experience, because they simply "...Have a million things to do." Our daughter won't be attending this place.

I am currently employed here and I love it here. The distance is the only thing that bothers me sometimes. Too much traffic! ?

Honest Review! It's not often that I come across educators who truly leave a lasting impression, but the teachers at Tutor Time are nothing short of extraordinary. I would particularly like to highlight Ms. Shaneika Kelly and Ms. Fanieka Crawford for their exceptional commitment and dedication.Shaneika's dedication, teaching qualities, and unparalleled commitment to student welfare convince me that she is more than deserving of a state educational award. Both these educators are always on top of their game, constantly updating the system and ensuring that learning is dynamic and engaging. The leadership under Director Deryl Chandler is commendable. The entire team, including the leaders, are doing an outstanding job, ensuring every student is offered the highest caliber of education. The operations are transparent, which is a testament to their integrity.Having run a preschool in my own country, I have firsthand experience of the level of dedication required to provide high-quality education. Tutor Time surpasses all expectations in this regard. To all the parents out there considering an institution for their children – I wholeheartedly recommend Tutor Time. It could very well be the best school in Atlanta, if not the entire state of Georgia. As for my family and me, we remain committed to our son's education and are confident that under the guidance of Tutor Time, he is on his way to becoming a world-class leader.

We have loved Tutor Time. My daughter has been going since she was 3/4 months old and is now almost two! The staff have all been amazing and our daughter learns so much. She is our first child and I was extremely nervous to begin daycare but everyone at Tutor Time has helped make the decision easy and one I definitely don't regret. There are live cameras which give me a sense of comfort and allow me to check in on our girl when I'm missing her at work. Ms. Deryl, the director, is wonderful, warm and very attentive.

Unprofessional teachers with attitudes. if you have any concerns about your child the teacher will not talk to you. She will send you to talk to someone else instead of showing good faith. As always, a hit dog will holler. Currently looking for a new school hopefully before the school year ends. The cameras also do not work all the time. I don’t play about mine and I don’t put anything past anyone. Hold your teachers accountable for their attitudes to parents who are entitled to ask questions about what is happening in the class room! If your child says something ask about it and never feel ashamed. I’m speaking out because this has been consistent and I have spoken to the school already. The director is helpful but the teachers are truly running it and acting in any manner they want.

I turned in all necessary paperwork to enroll my child and told the director I would like to schedule a tour before my daughter started school. They only offer virtual tours and you can not enter the school unless your child is a student. The director tried to convince me to bring her in without a tour multiple times (red flag). I scheduled a virtual tour for the following day at 9am and stated that she could start school the day after the tour. The following morning I receive an email that my tour is cancelled. I call only to find out that my tour was cancelled because I did not bring my child for class that day. The director then proceeded to tell me that since I wanted to do a tour before she started school that I could no longer do the tour and that she would find someone else to give her spot to. This seems very odd. Why not let me take the tour and allow her to come to school the following day if the space is available? This is not how a normal daycare/school runs their business. The director was very rude on the phone call, which was a complete 180 from the day before. This showed me all I needed to know!! Please beware of this place. Read all reviews from all sites (google, yelp, etc). There all many other reviews just like mine (school not allowing tours and just wants you to drop your kid off), unsanitary practices, employee retention issues, lack of teaching/structure, rude director/teachers. I will update my review when I find better school/s to help families find a nice place for their little ones.

So this review should have happened many years ago (a little over 20 years ago to be exact). When I moved to the Smyrna area in the late 1990's, I found this child care center near my apartment. I did not expect much more than what you would normally get in a daycare center but found out this place was a hidden gem. My daughter started at two and (because we moved) left at four. I am not sure they still have the same curriculum as they did then. The parents and children had a calendar that you were suppose to do daily homework from. They also had different sections set up for kids to learn different areas of play and education...such as reading, writing, art, playing with others...etc. By my daughters 3rd birthday, she started reading on her own. The homework gave us both structure so that we were able to continue with it long into her years in school. My daughter has graduated from college with her masters degree and I truly believe part of this was from her early start here and the amazing staff that they had. (I believe her favorite teacher back then was Mrs. White. I hope she is still there!) Anyways, I just happened to come across this daycare, and thought I should write...I guess more of a thank you note to them and a positive review.

I can't trust institutions like tutor time for my child. my scheduled tour got cancelled three times and people call me in a very odd times. when I wanted to share my experience about this, the lady was very rude. I am atleast happy that I get to see the real face of it initially.

I set up a tour for my child earlier this week for today. Thank God I found out then it wasn't the place or environment for my child. The lady was super unprofessional today when calling to confirm my appointment. I told her I wanted to come in person and she replied so you want to cancel the virtual tour? I said yes and she said ok and hung up. I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO ASK ANYTHING OR TO SEE IF OR WHEN THEY MIGHT OFFER IN PERSON OR ANY DETAILS WHATSOVER She just cut me off. Super rude and seems to hate her job. Either way, glad my child won't be attending such a negative environment.
