Don't even know where to begin about this program. Agreeing with the last review this organization doesn't like people of Color. To much to explain don't even know where to begin. This program needs to be held accountable for how I was treated. When I had my first appointment I was yelled at by Kelly she said you have no appointment today. Because Carmen that makes the appointments never sent me confirmation of the appointment. I made a complaint to her Supervisor Miguel how I was treated. he didn't like that. He said we don't have anymore funds. I told him I feel like I am being discriminated against. He didn't like that. What he didn't no is Kelly reschedule my appointment 2 weeks later. Went to that appointment . Gave her everything I needed one paper had a mistake. But she still excepted it. She told me if it was a problem I could fix it . About 3 weeks had gone by she never mentioned anything about the mistake on the paper. She also failed to give me the income form. So she called me Friday and ask about my income.Had to get that paper notterized . And still never mentioned anything about the mistake that was made by the Nottery. I talked to Kelly Monday and still never said anything. And on Tuesday I got a call from Carmen and Kelly they tag teamed me. And said we can't help because of the mistake that the nottery made. I said Kelly you said if there was a problem with that paper. You would let me fix it. So Kelly went silent Carmen said she can't hear you. As of this morning I called and spoke with Supervisor Miguel. Whom doesn't care much for people of color. Was breathing heavily and loud in my in my ear. To let me know he doesn't care.Tried to explain what happened but I'm sure he already knows.I asked could Iif I please go back to the nottery he said know we aren't helping you. I said Kelly should have never accepted that paper than. But she did and never gave me a chance to fix it. I said to Miguel the supervisor it's getting cold outside and Holidays are approaching.Still didn't care he's rude on the phone. I said to him is this how you Run your program on Donations and Government funding . Also told him that I would do my best at Contacting the media and State Reps. He said are you threatening me . I said I am a child of God I won't expect No! When I am right and discrimination , and Corruption is happening to me. Went to the CBG block grant already to make a complaint on the organization. He said I don't care they can't make me do anything. I said you're right if they would stop giving these Corrupt organizations funds Give to organization where Everybody of Color can be treated fairly

I strongly believe that this company is very very racist ! I had to reschedule my appointment with them one time due to something involving my autistic child .. I came to my next appointment and I was late they refused to see me or even give me another appointment when I had spoken with the lady she told me 930 was my appointment.. they refused to let me do the process over even before it had gotten started because I never even filled information out. If I had been Hispanic they would’ve let me been seen no problem but because I’m black they refused to help.. I don’t understand why open an organization just to deny people just like before even getting anything started I rushed there and had all my documents together

I do not know what's going on but. I got called twice each time the phone hung up when I answered. I called back the first time somebody answered and said someone will call me back the next day but then I answered and the same thing happened again. I called back no answer. I called at least 6 times yesterday no answer. I called this morning and was told that they called me twice and I didnt answer but I did twice n the phone hung up I explained this. They said they closed my case. If a person need assistance and they called they should get assistance. I will be taking this further

They were helping me with my rent. They said they called my landlord with no answer and then they emailed her and said that she said that I was not a tenant and they said they had contacted me but they did not contact me or my landlord I don’t want it to be because of my race but that’s how I feel because no one contacted me or my landlord

Ser Famila provides an excellent service helping families in the moments when they need it most. Their classes, workshops and counseling provide valuable information that helps you have a better quality of life. My case manager, Myriam, has always been attentive and willing to guide us and help us with whatever we need. Thank you Ser Familia for providing this service thinking about the Latino community!
