I have called several times seeking resources to services that help people battling Lupus but no one calls back. I am going to try to contact the national number if they have one to see if i can get some help. I see a cancer specialist because of a protien in my blood they are watching and had no problems getting in touch with the Cancer Society. Everyone i called pertaining to cancer answered their msgs. and phone. Right now i am not diagnosed with Cancer (thank God) and their resources is for people going thru treatment. I used to wonder why i had to explain to people what Lupus is and the effects of it. It is due to lack of help, information and advocacy. Lupus should be a household name just like Cancer. Maybe one day they will call back but for now i will keep trying to call and reach out to different places for help. We are not called warriors and survivors for nothing. I will keep moving forward because i don't know how to quit. Very good luck to my fellow survivors and warriors. Wear that purple butterfly proudly.
