I took my Jeep Wrangler to Mavis to have all 4 breaks replaced. They recommended I also replace my two rear break calipers for a total cost of about $1200. They neglected to secure the caliper and two days later while driving on I-285 at night, the break completely dislodged from the car putting my life and my unborn child's life in extreme danger (as I am currently pregnant).I towed the car back to Mavis. The manager acknowledged that this was a huge mistake and promised to fix it but would not compensate me for their mistake beyond a free ($99) alignment - only if I purchased a new set of tires and had Mavis replace them for an additional $1200+.Needless to say, I ended up taking my car to Tire South to have all 4 tires replaced. Although I paid nearly double of what Mavis quoted me, the customer service was outstanding and I had quality assurance. Not only that, but we also took my husbands car to Tire South to have his breaks and tires replaced as well and it was worth every penny. I say all of that to say, Mavis refused to go the extra mile to correct their negligence and ended up missing out on an opportunity regain a customer AND make an additional several thousand dollars- all because of the manager's inability to see the value in providing a safe and excellent customer experience.Their prices may be cheaper but this is for a reason. If quality, safety, excellence and customer satisfaction are your priorities then I would NOT recommend taking your car to Mavis. I could've been seriously injured due to their grave negligence and I'd hate for the same to happen to you.

(S.cobb drive location) I initially came in VERY irritable after driving around all day looking for tires and being disappointed. My frustration grew as I got to Mavis and had to deal with another service rep. I will say that my overall experience was really good. MARTAY has the patience of a saint and was finally able to address my needs for a reasonable price. I can't speak on the other staff, but as long as he is working here...I will be back.Thank you for your patience and professionalism.

The service at Mavis Tires in Smyrna (S. Cobb Dr.) was in one word, “exemplary!” I’m big on customer service and what businesses I support and, Mavis Tires earned my business & support. I had used Mavis Tires previously and the service was good. The new manager has taken the customer service from good to great! He is passionate about the customer experience & getting the job done right and efficiently. I’m so appreciative of the exemplary service I received today. Kudos to the entire team at Mavis Tires in Smyrna!

They did an excellent job! Not only did they get my alignment done, tune up my car without having to be prompted, checked my brakes, they filled my power steering fluid as I was about to pull out the parking lot the moment I heard the noise, free of charge. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone in the area near or far and I will most definitely be back for even minor inconveniences since the staff were so friendly. :)

My appointment was at 1pm. I showed up at 1:06 because I wasn’t feeling well (I have stage iv terminal cancer, which I told the call center person when I called Mavis to make my apt). The call center folks ensured me I had a 1pm apt and that the tire service (I am buying 4 new tires) would take an hour and a half. When I turned in my key when I got here, I was told it would be an hour and a half. It has been nearly FOUR HOURS and my car is still not finished because of “all the other people who came before me”. All the other people who came before me? What was the point in making a 1pm appointment if my car wasn’t going to be serviced at that time!??? The manager is very nice and friendly, but this is terrible customer service. Other vehicles should have been turned away for those with appointments, or I should have been called and told there were few service attendants in today and that they would need to reschedule my appointment. Or I should have been told when I arrived that I needed to get a ride home because they were really behind. Absolutely ridiculous! The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of how friendly the manager is.I will not be back. I miss the excellent service that I received when this was Kaufmann Tire. Mavis, you leave A LOT TO BE DESIRED. Two thumbs down.

Buyer beware! Back in Aug 2022, I purchase two tires from Mavis and purchased their "warranty." On Nov 1, 2023 I went in to get a tire patched b/c of a nail/screw. Mavis's associate told me that they can't patch the tire b/c the tread is very low and tried to sell me 2 new Mavis Brand tires. How is it possible after 1 year and 2 months into these tires...I need new ones. (I didn't drive that much in 1 year and 2 months). Maybe, Mavis Brand tires are just junk. They are here to rip off consumers. I took my car down to street to Smyrna Tire and got it patched WITHOUT them giving me NON-SENSE. Shame on Mavis and You lost a customer for life.

Excellent service! It is my second time coming to this location and will definitely come back. Keidrick’s attention was excellent and he provided me with alternatives to issues I didn’t knew my vehicle had.

The people are nice but always upselling. Wouldn't repair a tire with a nail because of supposed low tread depth - despite a week earlier during regular maintenance elsewhere being told tread depth was fine. Then Mavis said the tire was too old. Went to a different store in Smyrna that didn't give me any of that hassle. Combined with Mavis previously never responding to a warranty claim on a tire purchased from them (and having paid extra for the warranty), I will never use Mavis again.

I pulled up concerned about one of my tires being low. I was nicely greeted by a lady who directed me to ask one of the mechanics in the garage. The Spanish guy redirected me to self-serve since he was eating but another service guy came from the back and went above and beyond to make sure not only the concerned tire was addressed but so were the others to make them all equal. Thank you so much I appreciate your assistance.

First off, I don't understand how Yelp has an avg. of 2 stars while Google has an avg. of 4.5 stars; I'm choosing to review here instead of Yelp for that reason.BEWARE of advice you take from Mavis. Maybe I had an outlier between me last 2 experiences, but it was 2 experiences in a row that cause me to not want to give any future business.I bought 4 new tires 2 years ago for my Audi, nice Pirellis, non run-flat; no one mentioned run flat tires and I swear I bought the road hazard warranty (I have moved and could not locate the records). I went back a few weeks ago as my wife's BMW caught a nail that could not be repaired. I also was in my Audi and had a bubble in a tire. For the BMW, the Mavis professional told me she called Allstate on my behalf (Complete protection plan for tires) and that they were approving not 1 tire to be replaced, but all 4! Great news - the dealer who I bought the car from did not put run-flat tires yet they should have, so somehow she sweet talked Allstate into paying for 4 brand new tires. That said, Mavis doesn't carry the tires so I was told to order them from BMW Global Imports, so it'd take Mavis 10-14 days. I don't get it necessarily, but okay, fine. I mean 4 free tires... who cares if we have to wait.In the meantime, the same professional advised since my Audi was all wheel drive with one tire having a bubble, I had to replace 2 tires, but beyond that, my Audi should also have run flat tires. With my half-life of treads and the fact that she had gone to bat for me with Allstate getting me 4 brand new tires on the BMW, I should really replace all 4 at this point for my Audi (I couldn't get 2 run flats while having non run flats, of course). I had to drive out of town with my family the next AM, and since the BMW was unable to be driven for waiting on tires, we'd be taking my Audi. Having to make the decision on tires fast, I trusted and appreciate her efforts on the BMW so I gave her the business for all 4 tires on the Audi. But that's not all --- she called back saying she also found damage to rear rotor and I needed new brakes DESPERATELY; the front brakes were also bad and she highly recommended the do those too. Interesting, since I had my car in the shop a month before at auto shop specializing in foreign cars --- they didn't bring this up but gave green checks in review for the new brakes they'd install 9 months ago... I called them, talked through, called her back and she straight up said they were lying to me, and that the other recommendation that had made about "attention needing soon" was wrong also --- that aspect of my car was fine and she had just "put her hands" on the area and there were zero issues. Well that was confusing, but I decided not to rush any more decisions despite that she cautioned my sensors would go off and it'd be a good idea to do the repairs for the safety of my family. The end of the story, to wrap up --- they didn't get the tires replaced on my Audi until the day after they said they would, delaying our trip. Out of their control they say, fine. But the kicker --- after 4 days go by, I called back about the BMW. I'm now told it needed to be taken to BMW Global Imports, and that Mavis wasn't going to be involved at all. I get the car to BMW and find they're having issues with the insurance approval; I call myself to find that while they're replace the 1 tire with the nail, for road hazard damage, they won't replace the other 3 just because the dealer put wrong tires on and/or the tread is low --- that is not what their contract covers. I get it. Further, no one had called on my behalf, there had been no claim entered or reference made. Why did I believe the Mavis professional?I did call the Mavis professional to ask how I could have misunderstood the "great news, I've called Allstate and they've approved 4 new run flat tires" --- her response was that she spoke to someone at Allstate, with a name starting with "S"... My car had a flat. It was purchased used. When I went to change it I discovered the wheel lock key was missing. Called Mavis and after explaining this was told they were able to remove the tire and repair or replace it. Had the car towed to this location. I left the car there. After 1 and 1/2 hours was called and told they could not remove the tire. After voicing my frustration with the store manager I was told I could come get my car or they would have it towed to the junkyard. Horrible customer service and just people in general. Definitely lost my business and anyone I come across who asks for recommendations will be told to not come here. Would give negative stars if I could.

Josh provided excellent customer service. This location did not have my tire in stock and he was kind enough to drive to another Mavis location to get the tire I need. Service was fast and efficient and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Came in to get a simple oil change and a screw removed from my tire. Only after 3.5 hours and 30 minutes before closing was I called and notified that neither of these services could be completed. The tire could not be fixed because the tread was too low, and the oil couldn’t be changed because my car “does not have a dipstick, and the oil is electronically measured.” Either of these problems could have easily been made clear to me within minutes of dropping off my car. For reference, here is the dipstick in my car :).
