Joe took the time to look at fuel trims and 02 sensor graphs to confirm a p0420 code is actually being thrown by a catalytic converter operating below an efficiency thresh hold, rather than just taking the code at face value and offering to sell me a cat like some other mechanics have done. Moreover, Joe's got clever ideas to improve the trade, a race car in his garage, and is a source of interesting conversation. I couldn't look for more in a mechanic.

I moved here from Illinois and bounced from repair shop to repair shop for years and could never find a reliable mechanic. That has changed since going to Joe's Advanced Auto, they are always friendly, efficient and fair. I don't worry about them trying to sell me on something unnecessary or taking advantage of me and I know that my car is in good hands. Thanks Joe.
