I ordered a clearance item that was in stock. My item was showing processing for over a week. Going Gear canceled my order and then reposted the clearance item at its original price. I tried reaching out to the company several times and no one answered the phone. If you are looking for a good gear from an honest and reputable company then I recommend looking elsewhere.

Ended up getting a little trigger happy on ordering a knife from Going Gear, only to realise it wasn’t the right choice for me. I’m living in Canada so shipping can be tough across the border. They were very helpful and offered me different options to so crossing the border would go by smoothly. I ended up cancelling due to time frame issues with moving, but they were very helpful. You can definitely count on Going Gears customer service.

Amazing in store service ! Best conversation I’ve had about knives since last years blade show Atlanta. Nitecore EDC27 I got is the coolest flashlight ever ! So thankful y’all carry it .

Called to talk got an answer on the 2nd ring. Bought 3 flashlights 2 welttols and a acebeam amazing customer service fast shipping will definitely be purchasing from them again.. oh yeah and the weltool t12 and t2 pro tac are top notch quality with insane output dont hesitate with weltool or going gear you're in good hands.

Great edc resource. I was in from out of state and stopped by after a friend here mentioned it to me. While they are only open to the public Friday and Saturday, there is someone there filling online orders earlier in the week. You could probably stop by if you contacted them ahead of time. The staff member helping me was very knowledgeable and pointed out some of the really good sale items they currently had to offer. The shop may not look like much from the outside, but it really does have a lot to offer and you need to keep in mind a majority of their business is online. Finding stores like this where you can lay hands on items and try them is getting to be a rarity. They offered to pull anything that wasn’t on display for me as well to check out. I’m back in the area several times a year and will definitely be stopping back and checking out their website as well.

Well stocked little store. They have specialty outdoor items with an emphasis on knives. Cutlery ranges from budget every day carry to high end users to collectibles. Only open two days a week and they sell online (Amazon I think??). Nice folks with a good selection of "extras" for your outdoor adventures.

I wish I could give a score above 5 stars because this place is special. Its not just a typical mail order spot that you find on google. Its staffed with professionals that know their products and even better than that they care. I place a sub 100$ order recently and they called me to discuss a possible $1.35 credit back to be because they were out of one of the items I ordered. They offered a replacement product of similar quality and issued a $1.35 credit just as discussed on the phone. That's a lot of extra effort for a $100 order and a $1 price difference. I am going to get all the stuff I can from them from now on. This type of behavior needs to be rewarded and encouraged. Thanks Going Gear.

Was excited to stop in driving through from Ohio. Watched Marshals videos for years and wanted to see the wall of lights. Stopped in and was sorely disappointed. Literally 4 lights on display. Wall was empty.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they have an incredible selection on the inside! My dad and I stopped in here on a whim to test out a few knives. The employee (long hair and beard, sorry I forgot your name) was super attentive and very eager to tell us all the little facts and details on each knife. We tried out about 15 and left with three! You expect to pay a little more at a brick and mortar store, but we ended up paying less than anywhere I could find online! I love this place and I’m happy it’s so close!

I have made a purchase from GoingGear.com but unfortunately they've taken my money and ran. I've tried every which way to contact them but they do not respond and won't give me back my money. Do not order from them, you'll place your order and pay the money, and that's the last you'll hear. Will need to seek legal action to try and recover my money unfortunately. Absolutely disgusting behaviour

Ordered my first box on March 10th of last month. It is now April 19th and my order still has not been filled. Will I be charged for my second box before I ever get the first one? Still not giving up on this subscription yet but if I do not get a box soon I will be wanting my money back.Update: package arrived today. Love everything in the box! Will be keeping this subscription

Absolutely amazing staff!!! The guy who helped me explained everything i needed to know and was very nice. will be going back again for anything else i may need. wonderful knife selection and very knowledgeable staff!! 10/10 would recommend.

Would give them zero stars if it was available. Absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had at any retail establishment. New owner / manager did not want to take time to help with / find a product that I was enquiring about.I would be very careful about dealing with them.To be fair, over the years the previous owners and employees were great and the store was great. I have given them a lot of business over the years............ that ended with this guy.The other employees were nice, but I was not worth the owners / manager's time for my tiny purchase. I have owned my business for over 20 years and would never treat any of my customers the way I was treated, small transaction or large.
