Cooper Lake Car Care is truly THE business to see for any car related issues I could ever have.
I called them on a recommendation from a friend and spoke with Jeremy. He was kind and booked me an appointment for next day. As soon as I rolled in, my car was seen within minutes and the appraisal process was quick and painless.
After diagnosing my issue, he gave me the invoice and not once did I feel rushed or pressured to service my vehicle asap. When I was gearing up to pay for the service, I learned that a brake check was complimentary and that part truly made me feel like they go above and beyond to assist their clients.
Jeremy and his staff are extremely patient and flexible. I live in downtown and I will drive through hell or high water to get my car serviced with this amazing family owned establishment.

I’m a single young woman and this place never intimidates me or deceives me. I’ve even asked them to look at things and they’ve looked, and told me they’re okay instead of making up problems to fix. I only take my car here

I have used Cooper Lake Car Care and it's predecessor Cooper Lake Chevron for roughly 35 years. I trust Jimmy, Mike, Tyler, and the other mechanics because they do what is best for my vehicles, and make recommendations that I also trust. Easy to work with. I even have tires purchased online drop shipped there for installation. It is a family owned business, and reputation is important.

They were friendly. They did many of the items on the list. They discovered a new problem so we will go back to have that taken care of and then the other items can get finished. This was a great first experience.

This review stems from a deeply disappointing encounter with this establishment, recounted by a senior citizen who entrusted them with their car and ended up being shamelessly exploited through exorbitant charges for work they neither requested nor were informed of in advance. Unfortunately, this narrative mirrors countless others, with unjust fees for diagnostics, shop supplies, and unwarranted repairs becoming an all-too-common theme. Senior citizens often find themselves vulnerable to such establishments, fueled by fear that their vehicle may be ailing when a simple solution or replacement part would suffice. We're taking the initiative to share these distressing accounts with local news outlets, hoping they'll undertake an investigative exposé on this company. It's frequently the unsuspecting, including seniors, who fall prey to these exploitative practices. Our aim is to shed light on what truly transpires behind the closed bay doors of this automotive repair shop, bringing it to the attention of our community.

Jeremy is always helpful and timely. The whole garage is helpful and takes the time to explain what's wrong with our cars and takes the time figure it out when other auto shops shrugged us off. Never going anywhere else!

I needed my brakes replaced and Infiniti dealership said it would be 350 for front and back -700 total. I thought that was a little high so I called around. We are new and town so I called my old mechanic in Gwinnett County and he quoted me less but didn't want to make the drive so I found Cooper Lake Car Care online. I set an appointment and the clerk wanted to know what the dealership quoted, which was weird but I told her and she said it would be significantly lower. Well I bring my car in Thursday night so they can't get started for my appointment at 8am. We'll time goes by I call 3pm still not done. They called me back and quoted me over 900. I asked for a breakdown in price considering they are significantly more expensive than my dealership and he says, "it's 200 for the wheel alignment, ugh gosh, it's too early to do math" ........Me: huh???? Jeremy also says he has 1 mechanic working on 3 cars, that's concerning considering he isn't focusing on the issue on each vehicle. Well I have to pass this business on my way to pick up my son so I pull up cause I see my vehicle in the parking lot. Well, you would never guess. My appointment was for 8am and at 4:30pm they haven't even started on my car but completed the wheel alignment on Thursday night which is crazy because we never spoke and I never gave consent to move forward with any repairs. Now I'm paying 200 for a wheel alignment that would've been included with my brake replacement with my dealership. DO NOT BRING YOU CAR HERE, TRUST ME YOUR DEALERSHIP IS CHEAPER AND HAS QUICKER SERVICE. 10 hrs for a brake replacement and wheel alignment is insane. Terrible service. First and last time here and I will NOT recommend any of my neighbors in our new subdivision to come here. What a rip off and waste of time.
