I've got to give a big shout out to Yolanda and her team at South State Bank. We moved our business and personal accounts from another local bank after 15 years when they took the customer out of "customer service". This is how a bank should feel when you walk in. Well done South State and keep up the good work. We are already referring people to you ... Oh and thank you for the personal card we received in the mail!

Horrible customer service since their purchase of centerstate. Can't access my estatements for my business for the third time now and no one can figure this out. Spoke three different people who all had transfer me due to inexperience with how to fix my online statement. Last spoke to a Indian lady who couldn't speak good English and was absolutely no help and hung up on me. Take your money elsewhere

My experience with CenterState has been great, and if their tellers follow procedure and that is not acceptable to some account holders, don't ask for cash, use your checks, or a credit card for your purchases. I love my teller and their Bank officials. Always treated well?

This bank is the absolute worst bank I have ever been with. Like other posts are spot on I have had to take off work just so I can go to the bank and make a deposit. The ATM is always down I'm unable to transfer money from one account to another through my app. I am unfortunately stuck because of my mortgage with this Bank and I'm currently looking for other options because this is ridiculous.

Update to last post - I will absolutely have to leave. My phone won't support the app, so I can't deposit checks and my debit card (which I've never had reason to use until the bank limited it's hours) has been purged so I can't use it at the ATM to get cash. I can't be at the bank during business hours to fix these issues because I work full time. I shouldn't have to take time off from making money in order to make a way to have access to that same money.

I have had my acct with them for about 3 months now and at first was very satisfied, but that has quickly changed. I have cashed multiple $3000.00 business checks with them and have never had a problem. Today i go in to have a large amount cashed and the lady was very rude about it saying that she will have to put a 2 day hold on it. When i explained to her i was going to purchase a car tonight and need this cash, She just gave me a blank look. I also told her to look up the checks i have cashed there in the past that are from the same company and they never had a problem before. Her reply was she doesn't think i have the money to back the check. I told her thank you have a nice day you have lost a member. I will find a credit union elsewhere that wont stereotype there members. Stay away from here, I had better service with Wells Fargo.
