“First of all, I’m very perplexed with myself that after living in Woodstock for over 22 years, I had not even heard of the name Randall Brothers or PMC. With that out of the way, let me start with why and how I came across them. I started a fairly extensive home addition project, adding about 280 Sq. Ft. of living space and another 1360 sq. Ft. of Garage/workshop space. After some struggles and frustration trying to find someone to help me do a framing materials list (learned a new word "Take-off") I was about to drive up north to 84 lumber (far out of my way) as they were the only ones I could find that offered to do the take-off. Fortunately they could not do roof trusses so I called my roof truss provider who referred me to Steve at Randall Brothers for my take-off.

I called Steve and left a message on a Friday afternoon. He called me back in about an hour and within 5 minutes of explaining my situation he said please send me your plans and give him a couple of days. It was late Friday afternoon, so I cancelled my appointment with 84 lumber and gave Steve the weekend. By Monday he was contacting me with details. The first quote had me concerned as it was over my budget, as soon as I mentioned that to him in text, he immediately called me and went through it line by line very patently until I understood my mistakes in sizing my windows and doors. By Thursday he had a full package with multiple deliveries in his system ready to ship my framing package! All within my budget and the prices were comparable or better for the most part than I had planned for and the materials being of better quality than my projections. Steve was masterful in reading the plan and making sure I have all the materials I need but also making sure I stay out of trouble with county inspections and have a high quality build. For example, having tempered glass windows where I need them, better quality doors and windows when the cost was similar, etc. I felt like he was caring for this as if it were his own home! He made me feel he was doing my GC work for me! Once the project started, he made me comfortable enough that I felt I can call or text him any time for any questions and he is always there to help. I can go on and on about the level of effort and detail Steve has put into every bit of my build but this is already becoming quite the epic story. To say I could not have pulled this off without Steve is an understatement. But there’s more, every delivery so far has been perfect, exactly as ordered and even when I thought I was missing something, Steve was able to pull up the delivery photos and tell me exactly where the item was. As for the deliveries, every driver Jose, Thomas and Jose (different Jose) were unbelievably accommodating and made every effort to make my life easier. They took extra care and extra effort every time to ensure my supplies were placed where I need them and saved me money in manual labor in moving materials around the build site. Sorry I didn’t catch the names of the 2 guys that delivered the doors and windows but they were very nice and hand delivered everything to the back of the property. So far my experience has been exceptional with every person I have been in contact with. Even during the holidays when Steve was out of the office on vacation his back up Craig was looking out for me making adjustments to my orders as I needed to keep me on schedule and notified me when my window and doors arrived to avoid delays! just WOW! The only real disappointment has been that they don't sell everything so there are times I’m forced to go elsewhere. I sincerely appreciate all the effort Steve and everyone at Randall Brothers has put into my project and I am very grateful. I can't wait to refer them to family or friends for their building supply needs.”

“The quarry is a nuisance to some that live around it but you knew it and bought there anyway so you the dummy not them they were there first. You got to understand when that was started all that area was wooded and considered "the country", there was no Barrett Parkway, no Cobb Place, or any roads except ones like Greers Chapel road. In my town we have 3 abandoned quarrys none have sink holes yet some have been gone for over 50 years. The way it is right beside McCullough Field is neat better hope you land in the right spot. Lol The rock from that quarry is what built Marietta and all things west of Atlanta.”

“This Home Depot is the closest to our house, and we have experienced consistent customer service, cleanliness and organized aisles for the 15yrs we have lived in Marietta. We recently had our back deck rebuilt. Home Depot had everything our installer requested with competitive pricing (compared with Lowe's and Metro Building). Our first large lumber order was placed online and delivered directly to our driveway for $79 + $30 so we could specify the delivery window. Our installer didn't give much notice when he was ready for the deck, railing and balusters. The lumber crew was so helpful, offering to cart the 2x10x16s and 2x4x16s I needed before 7am and help load them into my Expedition EL. For the 66 deck pieces and balusters, I was able to order online for my installer to pick up without issue. Once the deck was complete, we returned the few extra items with ease. We love this Home Depot and appreciate their continued excellence.”

“I went in looking for a particular item. Quickly, I ran upon an associate to help me. Although, he was anxious to tell me that Lowe's didn't sell that particular item. Until I pulled up the item on the Lowe's app on my phone and showed it to him. Then, he took out his little hand-held device preceded to look up the product and led me straight to it. Afterward, another sales associate came up to me asking if she could help me with anything? I told her no and thanked her. On my way to check-out, I remembered I needed some bristle flat paint brushes. I asked these two wandering associates, and they just looked at me like a deer caught in head lights. One turned around and asked another associate, and she sent me to Aisle 38. I walked from the front all the way back to Aisle 38, only to find she misled me. I tried to find them on my own. Needless to say, after wandering around for five to six minutes. I gave up. On my way back to check-out, I ran into two associates just chilling, propped up in the middle of the aisle talking. I asked them, "Do you know which aisle I can find the paint brushes?" "Yes," one responded. "However, I rather show you ma'am. "If you don't mind?" Of course, I did not! The kind associate took me directly to them. Way to go, sir! Now that's customer service!”
