I was a patron here for almost a decade and unfortunately I had to throw in the towel . I first loved it was black owned and I used to know the entire staff and tip them and talk all the time with the doctor … over the years the customer service has declined tremendously… I do not trust the staff any longer with my animals . They mistreated me and I did not feel valued after I have spent hundreds of thousands in one place .. one of the staff quite literally threatened to do me bodily harm in front of my infant and fiance .. I was crying and in distress over how my animals came home mangled .. the doctor did see them but I did not leave feeling my concerns were taken seriously .. I was treated like a nuisance instead of a customer or extended family … you frequent businesses to build trust and when it comes to our animals , they are our family and we trust our family with you .. to continue to pay a business that does not believe they have to cater to the emotions of their customers or the concerns of their customers is deeply saddening.. you expect people that work with animals to know these things …I never got phone calls returned or emails … I will never be back !

The doctor is Amazing. I showed up right at closing to say good bye to my baby and they still took care of me and gave me all the time I needed without any rush. Would definitely recommend, I’m so thankful for their help with her transition.

Dr. Williams and his team always take very good care of my dog when we visit. I have an 2 year old toy poodle that has been neutered, given his yearly shots and stayed overnight when he was not feeling well at Animal Care Center. I appreciate the care my baby receives in their hands.

Loved this place! I had to come with my 2 year old and my dog for booster shots, and I was honestly dreading trying to handle a dog and a curious child in a veterinarian office. The team was great! They warmly preoccupied my daughter with a sweet cat that my daughter adored. They were also very thorough with the examination of my dog and reasonably priced. I wish I would’ve found this office sooner, and I’ll definitely be back!

I have a cat who has diabetes and needs insulin twice a day. I work out of town a lot! So, I began boarding my cat here. Dr. Williams even takes her home with him. From the first time I went here, I had the “pleasure” of dealing with the Receptionist/Office Manager, Demi, who likes to give you other names. She talks to you with extreme condescension, annoyance, blankness, apathy and just plain rude. Any time I’ve called there and gotten anyone else, it’s been a pleasurable experience; but quite the opposite when I have to deal with Demi. This office has a lack of communication problem with their clients. I went to pick up my cat and was told by Demi that Dr. Williams wasn’t in yet. (He had my cat in his possession) it was 8:30 am—they open at 8:00 am, ok, no big deal, but a call to inform me of this would have been nice. I also expressed to Demi that I called 3x on Sat. (Within their hours of 8-12) and didn’t receive an answer. She then, got very defensive with me and continued to say she doesn’t know why I didn’t get answered that she wasn’t here on Saturday. I went home and came back later to pick up my cat when they called me that she was in. Dr. Williams came out and immediately began to chastise me! These are the things that were said by him: “Did you call and be ugly to MY employee?” “Let me tell you something, I’ve been practicing for 30 years and she’s been with me a very long time and I’ve never had a problem with her”, “Do YOU know what I go through to take care of YOUR cat?” “Do YOU know how much TIME I spend with YOUR cat?”, “I think it’s best we part ways—I can’t help you—I can’t have my employees mistreated.” (I’d HARDLY say she was “mistreated” in the 1 min we were on the phone. He also said, “I DO NOT like to start my days out like this!” It was quite the reprimanding I received from him. I was in shock! I was so taken aback by this whole interaction AND also this is the first time I’ve ever met him and he’s kept my cat now several times! He never apologized for his employees’ (Demi’s) behavior towards me and he never apologized for not being at the office on time. I felt I was treated unfairly, discriminated against and no longer trust this office with my cat if THIS is how he treats his clients who pay his salary. I no longer recommend him or his office to anyone. p.s. hours they have posted on everything is incorrect! (Website, Facebook, Google…hours are all incorrect!)

I have an 2 month old male toy poodle and was looking for a veterinarian to schedule for his first shots and an health exam. I live in Mableton and called around to different veterinarian clinics. Every other clinic I called told me to schedule through the online service and wouldn't really answer my questions/concerns. Animal Care Center went through a detailed process and answered all my questions, sometimes you just want a real live person to speak to and answer your questions! Even went through a fee estimate of the services to be provided. Today was his first appointment and the level of care and service that was provided to me and my fur baby was exceptional, I can confidently say we have found our vet! Mr. Williams also came out to greet me and answer the concerns I had. The technicians are very knowledgeable and would frequently come outside to update me on the status of the visit. I would highly recommend Animal Care Center.

Our lab chow rescue age 12 had an urgent care need one afternoon when our regular vet was off for the afternoon. We literally put Riley in the car and went looking for another vet and came to Animal Care Center after 4 pm. Dr. Williams came out to the car and displayed an incredible bedside manner despite the fact he was not our regular vet. He welcomed Riley to stay overnight so he could be x-rayed and examined to understand the course of care. ACC took excellent care of Riley. Very unfortunately Riley had a tumor the size of a football in his abdomen. Dr. Williams very carefully explained our options - which weren’t good. But he let us decide. Dr. Williams and his staff allowed ample time for us to say farewell and I stayed with Riley as he very peacefully and painlessly passed away. I have never ever met a vet more compassionate and caring than Dr. Williams.

I called them for an appointment. They told me to email them a copy of my dogs vaccinations and they would call me back. I have yet to hear from them.
