Anthony from Pete’s answered the AAA call for roadside when I woke up to a dead battery in my car.He was super friendly and personable. I never felt like he was “rushing” to just complete the job and I felt as though he did a very thorough and quality job on the install. We also confirmed no issue with the alternator, but discovered another abnormality which lead to me making an appointment to investigate this with my mechanic. While I cannot speak for the other reviews, I had nothing but 5-star service with the mobile battery installation.

John came to my house and helped me jump my battery. He was friendly and gave me advice about things to look for that could be causing my battery to drain. He was very professional and I highly recommend using them.

Avoid at all costs. The foks that run this place are thieves. If you take your car to this station you will be robbed. I could elaborate but there's little point: stay away from these thieves.Service: Battery

The battery in my husband's car died in the parking lot after 4 hours of biking and running at the Silver Comet Trail. Cameron arrived and was very professional, diagnosed the issue, confirmed no issue with alternator and then replaced the battery for us. It was quite an effort to replace this battery as it required removal of about 20 bolts and many other car pieces just to get to the battery. He was patient and apologized multiple times for us having to wait. When he was done, he ensured everything was in place and working properly so we wouldn't have any further issues. He explained everything clearly and was such a pleasant person to work with.

They installed the wrong battery at my home and refused to come to my home to replace it. They said my home was outside of their travel area .

Horrible experience. If I could give lower I would. Called AAA for them to come out for a jump start and they contracted this company for the job, which they did. However in leaving the technician somehow got stuck in our yard and didn't get towed out until 5 hours later. There is even a sign that says "Do Not Drive on Grass!!" As they were being towed they tore up our yard and driveway. Trying to get anyone from Pete's to return a call, over a month later, is utterly impossible. Requested I get 2 estimates which I provided and they won't even cover half of the lowest estimate. I would NEVER do business with this company just based on the lack of professionalism and response to an issue they made.

While there was a hiccup during the battery replacement process at my home that ultimately required additional expertise at the AAA Service Center near my home, the reason I give Pete's Mobile 5 stars is based on the manner in which he handled the situation -- both quickly and extremely professionally (even personally driving to my home once the on-site AAA tech requested assistance). Furthermore, despite the extra effort involved (extra parts and labor), those costs were not passed on to me.Service: Battery

We had them go and do a diagnostic on our jeep. We paid the money and were told It was an issue with the key. We paid to replace the key and that was not the issue. When I asked if they would refund the diagnostic(that was wrong) or come and see what was really going on they said they would come check out the issue “the first of the week. ” Tuesday the following week I texted to ask when they were going to see it. He then said we would have to have it towed and it would be $300 for them to figure out the issue. I feel like if you pay for a diagnostic and it is incorrect they should be willing to refund the diagnostic or back up their work by looking at it again to make it right. Good businesses are always willing to back up their work. This is not a good business. Beware.Service: Auto maintenance

My battery failed, so I contacted AAA, and they sent Pete's Mobile Service. Arrived very quickly. Good customer service with Igor, though rather heavy on the sales pitch telling me all the ways he was awesome and every other option was terrible. Battery and service pricing were definitely inflated, perhaps 20 to 30%, including a "$50 difficult install" fee because it took him an extra 10 minutes. Probably still cheaper than dealership, but more expensive that Costco or Autozone would have been. .... All the batteries on the truck were <6 months old, the one that fit my car was 4 months old -- not amazing, but not terrible. ... 4 stars because at the end of the day, I got my battery and so I'm ready for carpool.Service: Battery

Used Pete's via AAA for battery replacement. They swapped old with smallest of the 3 available options despite manufacturer specifications calling for different battery based on options in my car. The car has not started right since replacing and they refuse to swap for larger battery. Their 404 number is non-working and it's impossible to get in touch with them. AAA was no help in fixing matter either. Extremely frustrating customer experience.

AAA dispatched a service tech, Kelvin from Pete's Mobile Service, to my home to replace a battery in my Porsche Cayman. I purchased the original battery 50 months ago from AAA/Pete's with a 72 month warranty. The tech gave me a choice of paying a prorated cost for a new battery and claimed I'd only have the remaining 22 months of warranty coverage, or I could pay full price for the same new battery and restart the 72 month warranty. I foolishly believed that the tech knew what he was talking about regarding how the warranty program worked. It was only after he left that I read the warranty boilerplate on the back of the invoice and discovered that I had been either intentionally or unintentionally lied to about the warranty coverage had I gone with the prorated replacement option. And to add insult to injury, the phone number on Pete's website doesn't have a voicemail option to which I can request a callback to clarify and remedy the situation. I'm disgusted with AAA as they've been of no assistance in the matter either!Service: Auto battery replacement

Worst experience. Received service through AAA. Repair man made me feel super uncomfortable. He spoke to me as if i didn’t understand and literally told me he would not help me. Experience overall made me look at AAA differently. Thank God it wasn’t an emergency situation because it would’ve been a nightmare with the service I (didn’t) receive.Service: Battery
