So I'm feeling like some Ethiopian food while we were in the Decatur area. I do a search and this place has good reviews so we stop in. After seeing the Anthony's Pizza sign, the wife is definitely looking at me like I've gone crazy. That was right up until the lady who took our order brought out our Doro Wat and Gomen Besga. Both were incredibly delicious. They're not shy about the spice either which I loved. She also spent some time chatting with us about her parents who do the cooking and run the restaurant/bar and gave us a sample of her Mother's wine which was pretty good also. We'll definitely be back and maybe one day we'll even try their pizza. :-)

Wow! Drove by this place many times and was unaware of this hidden gem until a friend took me last week. Now it’s a new favorite! Ahhmazing food prepared by the loveliest woman. The husband and wife owners make the atmosphere family like and oh so welcoming. I had the veggie platter along with some of the meat and it was sooo flavorful and cooked just right. I’ve had Ethiopian food in several spots and I have to rate this as my top choice in quality and taste.

The food was not the best. Nothing like the old Anthony's Restaurant that was located there. Food was very over cooked. It was so overcooked until the gave an extra pizza which was over cooked. Garlic bread dark brown. Lasagna wasn't tasty at all. Ended up giving it to the dogs. No plans of returning to this restaurant. ?

Ethiopian, Eritrean & Sudanese food they have. If someone knows quality food this is the right place. If you need junk & quantity you are in the wrong place. For ethio-eritrean check chechebsa (ጨጨብሳ) and for Sudanese check foul. This is mom & pop restaurant. test 1 time you will know the difference.Vegetarian options: Choose from menu or order verbally it's your choice.Parking: Over 50 car parking. You need more ask the owner. For wedding or special events they have separate hall, bar, kitchen, restroom & cooler from restaurants.Wheelchair accessibility: All rooms are same level, plus you can Walk next to wheelchair. Enough space over 150 people. Seeing is believing

The mama makes the service awesome. The family owed business with authentic food and ingredients. Fresh ground coffee, ingredients for tea is grown by the mother, father is the cook and the mother makes the experience.

This place is fantastic! It's like being lucky enough to have an Ethiopian family invite you home for dinner- great homecooked food, kind service, and do NOT miss the honey wine.

The kindest, most genuine family with the most delightful food! Will definitely be back, the service was amazing and they let us sample their homemade Ethiopian wine—absolutely FANTASTIC!! Will be buying a bottle or several.. Everyone should try this place! I could not get enough of it and made my housemate take my leftovers home so I wouldn’t pass out at work from a food coma.Their menu is simple but diverse and they were happy to adjust spice levels (say no more, fam, we love spicy!) and let us try other spice variants to brighten up our dishes. Can’t wait to go back and try their Ethiopian pizza fusion!

By far the best Ethiopian food we have ever had. The family who own this restaurant are so kind and treated us like family. We enjoyed it so much, we will travel 4 hours again to eat here. We recommend the Doro Wat and the veggie platter. We also tried a Tibs pizza and that was a nice surprise. We would recommend this too. Thank you once again for the great memories.
