I went in for the first time this past week, and they assessed what my goals were and showed me an exercise program that I could handle. I have been back twice since, and I am thrilled that the people who work there actually pay attention to see if you’re doing things properly. Also I get to walk around with a yellow card writing in my progress that they will reassess in three months. So far, a very inviting and positive experience.

My place for fitness. Has been for over 5 years. Friendly and helpful staff and wonderful clean environment to exercise in that’s very well maintained. Wonderfully diverse group of folks who exercise here that are very pleasant and social.

My 11 week pregnant daughter came in with a fever, body aches and sharp lower abdominal pains having trouble at times walking from the stomach pains. Diagnosed her with the flu, no heartbeat check for baby, OR DOING ANY TYPE of abdomen check AT ALL! The Dr. also shrugged off the pregnancy/abdominal pain concern with "how do you know you are pregnant"?.. To which she responded "a positive pregnancy test, and then went to my primary doctor to confirm". The medical "professional" rolled his eyes several times when questioning her on her pregnancy and completely disregarded the entire concern. She layed there balled up with a jacket covering her! No empathy from a soul on shift to offer even a thin blanket to a shivering, fevered pregnant woman!I will also note, her ID card to be seen on post expired several days after her primary care Dr. confirmed pregnancy, her appointment to renew her ID was TODAY-first available appt as of 3 weeks ago, before that ID expired. So her only option to get immediate medical attention without her dependent ID was to be seen at St. Joe's.This is her first child, she is scared from the fever and sudden sharp abdominal pains..HOW is that not prioritized as part of the EXAM??Healthcare...HEALTH?CARE?... this is the industry you chose, don't get numb to being a human and a little empathy goes a long way.
