I recently encountered a deeply frustrating issue at this pharmacy that deserves attention. When I went to pick up my prescribed migraine medication, which is a 12-pill pack and always covered by my insurance, I was given only 11 pills. I was initially misinformed that my insurance only covered 11 pills. However, upon insisting they double-check, it was confirmed that I was indeed entitled to 12 pills. The pharmacist then stated they only had 11 in stock and I would need to return for the 12th pill.Complications arose when I returned weeks later for the missing pill. The pharmacy attempted to process the additional pill as part of my next month's medication, leading to a denial from my insurance for an 'early refill,' which was not my intention. I was simply trying to collect what was previously owed.Further complicating matters, I contacted my insurance company, which clarified that the pharmacy should have processed the transaction as a 12-pill claim from the start, allowing me to pick up the remaining pill later. The insurance company advised that the pharmacy needed to reverse the initial 11-pill claim and resubmit it correctly for 12 pills. However, when I relayed this solution to the pharmacist, Jeff, he stated it couldn't be done, effectively refusing to correct the error. This experience not only caused unnecessary inconvenience and wasted time but also prevented me from receiving my complete medication, directly impacting my health management. The lack of proper communication and procedure adherence within this pharmacy team is alarming and disappointing. Pharmacies must ensure accurate and complete medication distribution, especially for patients dealing with severe health issues like migraines. My hope is that this feedback prompts the necessary improvements in service and reliability for all future patients.Side note: The store manager was there, but also said he could not do anything and when asked about getting the number for the regional manager, I was told to call the 1-800 number. *I have all of this on recording. The pharmacist should be let go!

Staff is incompetent. Always delays even though they say meds will be filled and when they say they’ll have them they don’t know what’s going on and can’t help you. Ridiculous.

Incredibly unprofessional and refused to fill my prescription once they found out I was from out of state. Stated they had the medicine when all of the sudden there were “people in front of me who needed it”

I turned in my prescription straight from the ER. They told me it will be ready in a few hours so I went home in pain. They texted me it was ready in a about an hour. Got there about 2:45 and they were shut down. So I had to go through all night in pain!Thanx Walgreens Pharmacy

Was calling for an update on prescription and they were snippy and rude the whole time. The CVS and Walgreens here are so unprofessional because they can get away with it because there's almost no other pharmacys close by. Just make the drive to Walmart, it's cheaper there and more professional.

Worst Walgreens I have used. Daughter tried to pick up prescription yesterday evening during pharmacy hours and there was no pharmacist, so no medication. It was just closed. Pharmacist is unfriendly and they are very slow.I loved the Walgreens I went to in Atlanta, but am switching after 17 years of being a Walgreens customer.

Worst pharmacist at the Ogeechee Rd. location. Very rude and dismissive. Pretty much dismissed me and hung up in my face. He is of foreign descent according to his very heavy accent and is hard to understand. I don't know if it's a culture thing where he's from but a pharmacist should have sympathy and compassion especially when dealing with sick people. He initially told me that no Walgreens in the area had my prescprescription that I should call around like to CVS or somewhere. I didn't think that was my job to do but I did it and CVS had my prescription. He called me back after I hung up with CVS to tell me that another Walgreens location all the way across town had my prescription. I told him that I just got off the phone with CVS and they could feel it. He told me he already transferred it to another Walgreens location. I told him I was very sick and did not feel like driving all over town especially having covid. He said okay bye okay bye okay bye and hung up in my face.

The walgreens off Ogeechee road is the worst for filling prescriptions. No matter when I put my prescription in for refill they can't fill it before it runs out. Current wait to get a prescription filled is 5 days. They seem to have a different excuse to where it wasn't their fault. If you have an option don't trust them with important prescriptions.

pharmacy employees ought to follow established laws, instead of using personal opinions. Doctors prescribe medication, the DEA and insurance companies make their own hurdles. Pharmacists shouldn't make new problems cause they can. Today, that Pharmacists opinion cost me 4 hours and a tank of gas. it cost my wife a few hours of inexcusable suffering. Again, because she felt like it.

I’m not sure why they even have a drive thru in their pharmacy, it’s the slowest ever! If you go inside it’s just as slow! Not convenient at all! You will wait 10 min or longer!
