“Taylor and Dr Woods were so kind and genuinely concerned for my cat. They advised me to travel to University of Florida to get more testing and information. Their informed advice saved my cats life. If not for the team SVIM, I would have lost my Gertrude sooner than I would have preferred.
Taylor called to check on us a few days after they diagnosed my cat, simply to check in. It truly means a lot to have a whole office rooting for the well being of your four legged family member.”
“What can I say. I called last minute first thing in the morning saturday 10/11/2024 with a cat that had pink mucus coming off her private areas and no idea as to what was causing it. Not only was the staff super understanding and was able to fit me in same day, but they handled my cat with care and made sure that she was not only comfortable but so was I. I came in a sobbing mess and everyone was so understanding and kind. After a quick diagnosis of pyrometra we quickly made a plan to start Lily on antibiotics and get her in for surgery first thing Monday morning as I had brought her in on a Saturday and the emergency hospitals were quite expensive. Well today is Monday and the surgery was a success!! Not only was it a success but they were also able to find a mass underneath one of Lily's nipples and were able to safely remove it. This whole ordeal was not only stressful but very emotional as Lily was my first adult pet and my first baby. The staff here is unbelievably caring and ridiculously skilled at what they do. I would trust no one else with my pets but Allison and Maddie. Thank you to the entire staff here for saving my baby's life!!”
“HUGE shoutout to this place. I brought in a lost dog, they checked for a microchip and unfortunately she did not have one. They gave me advice about to handle the situation (the dog is now available for adoption at Renegade) and also gave me flea meds for her. Very much appreciated, they truly care about animals.”
“I've been coming here since I was a child in the 80's. Literally, since I was 8 years old. My family always saw Dr.Cooper for all our loved pets. Particularly my first lab, named Lady. Then decades later once I was out on my own After High School and got married I then started seeing Dr.Mahaney. Jeff was awesome. Such a welcome comfort knowing my dog Haley was in great hands. Jeff saw Haley when I first got her when she was 8 weeks old all the way to the sad day where I had no choice but to put her to sleep 11 years later due to a long battle of diabetes. The respect and comfort Dr.Mahaney showed me And my beloved Haley that day, in that very moment, was true compassion that could not have been matched by no one else I've ever met. He told me to hold her as he gave her the shot. And then gave me time alone with her and when he came back in the room he said, "we will take care of everything from here", meaning him and his vet techs, "go home, get some rest and there is no charge for this Brooks" They helped me arrange for her to get cremated. And couple days later I received a sympathy card in the mail with all the staffs signatures. Shortly after that I picked up Haley's ashes and brought her home again. I have and always will recommend Islands Vet Clinic to anyone and everyone! They truly care! I've been going since 8 years old and I'm still going at 44 years old and will never stop as long as I am healthy to properly take care of my pets. My dogs and cats of now and in the past truly get the best care anywhere in Savannah. Fact!!!”
“We are lucky to have vet leslie. She really cared about our first dog, sent us a card when he passed, and was so happy for us two years later when we brought our new puppy in! She sees us last second when things go sideways, and always takes good care of our boy. Highly recommend her and all the wonderful staff at SSHA”

“Took me and my cat as a walk in to get his vaccines and were amazing. they were so sweet. They were also super quick and had him out in less than five minutes. they also set up his neuter appointment immediately. not to mention extremely affordable, in total his vaccines and his neuter were barely over $100. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to find a vet to bring your new pet or looking to switch vets in general.”

“I am so grateful for Dr. Kicklighter and his staff. My dog woke up with an abscessed tooth on Friday, they were the only vet in the area able to get her in same day to treat her with an antibiotic and pain meds until the tooth could be removed the following Monday. The procedure went well, she is back at home recovering. I am happy she was in good hands, and the price was very reasonable. This place is a hidden gem, I can’t express my appreciation enough.”
“We were in Savannah earlier this week as our neighborhood in Florida was evacuated. Our dog Maddie developed GI issues and Berwick Animal Hospital took us right in. The vet and entire staff were so attentive and caring and prescribed the right meds for our Maddie. She is on the mend and we are so grateful to Berwick Animal Hospital for coming to her rescue during a stressful time. The office building is beautiful and beverages were offered including water and tea. It was a wonderful experience ❤️”

“We have been going to Dr. Hassan since we got my childhood dog when I was 10 years old. I’m now 27 and we still take our dogs here because there is no vet I trust more than her! She is kind, intelligent and compassionate. She always keeps your budget in mind, is honest and provides different options. She truly cares for your pets. The staff is always kind and helpful. They’re always excited to see my dogs. In fact, when my childhood dog had to be put down due to cancer in 2016, they cried with us and gave us many hugs because they loved him too. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with the care of my dog babies. Highly recommend!”

“Brought my dog Roxanne for the first time to this clinic.
Roxanne will be 17 this year, and has had a bad time at previous vets on multiple occasions. She is high maintenance when it comes to new people, environments, other animals, and gets very nervous and anxiety.
She had no issues today, none whatsoever. They were great.
