Easily the worst post office in Savannah, and it doesn’t help that this is the only main carrier location. They deliberately don’t answer the phone and their drivers are lazy and don’t need to be employed if they can’t do their job right. The whole staff at this post office needs to be fired and whoever is in charge absolutely needs to do a more thorough screening of who they hire.There have been several occasions where I have ordered packages that had to be delivered through USPS. I don’t live in a regular suburban neighborhood, I live on a private road that is a one way street. I’m not sure if the same person always has this route, but whoever manages this route occasionally refuses to deliver to my house. There are days where I am home waiting on my package or there is a family member present, and the driver never comes down the road but will put my order as “attempted delivery”. I would schedule a redelivery within the app, and then they will still mark it as attempted delivery to the point where I have no choice to come all the way across town (30-35 minute drive) and pick up a package that isn’t no more than 7 lbs all because they didn’t feel like coming down my street.And I know for a fact that they deliberately don’t answer the phone because I tried calling them multiple times for days, as well as SOON AS THEY OPEN and they will not answer. At one point someone did answer, but they picked up the phone and hung it up quickly because I was calling back to back.I don’t have time to pick up packages because I work too much and don’t have time when I get off to make it while they’re open and if I wanted to pick up my package from the PO in the first place — I would have chosen it, and I’m also given a time stamp to pick up my package before they return it back to where I ordered it from which I think is completely unfair that I have to deal with this and move time out of my busy schedule because the workers that are employed by this location aren’t doing their job.

After three tries I got my passport processed at this location. Over all not a bad experience, walked in on Saturday no appointment needed.

The fact that a federal building they promote and allow cars towed after working hours is just despicable.

It’s like they deliberately tried to mess up the delivery any way they can!!I was expecting a priority package that was meant to arrive Saturday.By Monday they had already lost the package then Thursday realized it was still in Florida where it was shipped from. They told me the package would arrive Friday for me to pick it up so I asked them to make sure it doesn’t go out for delivery so I can get there at 8 am.At 6 am I get a text saying it’s out for delivery but should arrive by 10 am and the. At 10 am an email saying that because I requested to leave the package with them they returned it to the post office!!! Now they’re not answering the phone. A bunch of ….

Didn't follow change of address for multiple pieces of mail and I had to chase down my mail forever. Spam called me during work when I asked to be contact via email. So glad I moved

Great Service keep doing the right thing. I'm a collector of Black Heritage stamps and was told by my carrier that the post office on Bay and Fahm would have them. I made my request for the stamps and "zippo" I was in and out.

Passport was supposed to be delivered by someone from this location. My package was labeled as “delivered” and stated that it was dropped off in the front office of my apartment. Upon checking my regular mail locker and visiting my front office it’s come to my attention that my passport was not at all delivered yet it was labeled/scanned as “delivered”. I then called to try to get a hold of someone and nobody answered the phone on 4 separate occasions throughout the day. I would rather a package be delayed than to be lied to, especially when it’s an important document like a passport. Extremely unprofessional!

10 days later I'm still looking for a package that was marked delivered but never put in my box. I lost my money and what I ordered. Have been ignored by the Post Office workers.

Would give zero stars if I could. Never redeliver packages. Never answer the phone. Packages are always banged up when I have to go pick them up because none of them do their job. They get an attitude when you ask them to do their job

I went in to get a package that was 'delivered'. The package couldn't be located at first. A customer walks in stating "this isn't my package", I notice right away it was my contacts that I had ordered. It was put into the wrong PO Box, so they had the mail sorter come out to see why that had happened. By the end of it, the mail sorter started blaming me for not putting enough information on the label. Note, this isn't the first time a package has been put into the wrong PO Box. She was rude and disrespectful. The packages were distributed incorrectly, so I get blamed?? I didn't even give her the time of day to respond or ask what her problem was. She clearly hates her job or was having a rough day.I had a gentlemen helping me at the counter and he was very polite and professional. I guess the sorter didn't appreciate being called out?

I think that most people take issue with this post office is that they don’t allot enough time to do what they need, or are impatient.These places are typically under-resourced
