We rented a 28ft u-pack for our 2650sqft house, paid for a month of storage and had it delivered to its new location. I went with U-Pack versus other brands due to the price point and what they offered. I really needed something this size, with storage and delivery. The customer service and delivery people were awesome. The trailer itself needed some TLC. It had a big patch on the roof that ultimately ended up leaking and ruining some of my things, but in the fine print it does state basically not to expect it to be completely sealed so I couldn’t be upset with them. I did have a couple of things broken in transit, nothing major, could have just been poor stacking during loading. The biggest thing I would have appreciated is communication about when the trailer was secured into storage and when it left. I had to call and make sure it had arrived and I had assumed I would have gotten notified of its arrival. Overall I was happy with the service and will use them again, I’d maybe ask them to find me a trailer with not as much roof damage if possible.

Very well organized, helpful no matter who you talk to, on time and careful moving stuff. I had a great experience with the people in Minneapolis and in Austin when I moved in May. Highly recommend and love that you can get a quote from the website!

We just used UPack to move furniture from Georgia to Rural Downeast Maine. The initial contacts with sales/ customer service were very helpful and professional, but the process all seemed a little too good to be true and seemed like too many things could go wrong. My delivery and pickup on the Georgia end went flawlessly, so I really felt like something would go wrong on the VERY rural Maine end. The Maine end was slightly trickier, everything had to be done by phone and it got transferred to a different delivery company than we were initially told. In the end though even that went very well- we arranged with the shipper for a same day pickup so as not to inconvenience our neighbors so the truck was delivered at ten, we unloaded, and they pulled it after lunch. Could not be happier.

This company was so good! They gave a fair quote and stuck to it. Everything happens just as they outline it to! Everyone is professional and efficient. You GET A REAL PERSON when you call! A person that is helpful and knowledgeable! They will be my number 1 moving recommendation! Thank you Upack for making a tough move easier!

First and foremost, the gentleman who brought the trailers and picked them up, was an expert in customer service and very helpful. The trailers were alright but the ramps were problems. The loaders felt insecure on them. I also resented, being called for payment when we were trying to get the trailers unloaded. I understand the company requires payment, however, if they would have stated when they wanted payment we would have cpomplied.

This was a great experience. The trailer was almost brand new, the drivers were excellent and professional, and the entire process went very smoothly. Would use again.

Long distance moving can be a logistical nightmare. UPACK makes it easier by being extremely friendly and flexible. The Trailer is at least 50% larger than a pod but they charge by the linear foot, so if you pack from floor to ceiling you can save money.

Overall a great experience utilizing ABF for a move from Wisconsin to Georgia. The price was unbeatable for our needs and appreciated the Guaranteed Delivery option; well worth the extra few hundred dollars to have an exact delivery date. The customer service rep called the city while I was on waiting and confirmed we would need a permit for parking in GA.Drop off of the empty and our loaded trailer were right on time. They even picked up our unloaded trailer early. All 4 drivers we interacted with were awesome. Joe who dropped off our full trailer in downtown Savannah was amazingly helpful and informative. He had a tough challenge of parking and he delivered (pun intended). We also appreciated the ease of connecting with Moving Staffers contract movers for our unload. Strictly Professionals in Pooler are THE best.Equipment wise - they had great availability with their expansive network. We moved rather quickly and needed a trailer within 2 weeks. After a half dozen "no" responses from others, we got a "no problem" from ABF. Be ready that it is a standard freight trailer. The soft top trailers can easily rip allowing dirt and water; cover anything cloth or white with plastic or tarps. We certainly had trailer dirt on many items. Unloading/reloading the ramp can be tricky as it is super heavy. Our drivers / movers thankfully helped us with that. Also be aware that if you're not using all 28', you will need to install a heavy separator wall (included in the trailer). It requires some muscle to get them into place.Overall great experienceService: Out-of-county removals

My family moved from Missouri to the east coast in June 2021. We contacted ABF to help with the move, and they contracted through UPack. We were quoted a price for them to deliver a truck to our home, transport it to our new home once we had filled it, then pick it up once we had emptied it. We were told that it would take 5-7 business days to deliver it once it was picked up from our old home. We agreed and the truck was delivered on Friday, June 11. Because they do not transport on the weekends, we had the truck over the weekend at no extra charge, which was nice.We filled the truck over the weekend and called them to pick it up. They said they would do so on Monday, June 14, and that it would be delivered to our new home in 5-7 business days, which was from Monday, June 21-Wednesday, June 23. They picked it up as scheduled, and our new employer paid more than half of the cost up front as part of our relocation expenses. When we did not hear anything from them by Monday, June 21, my wife called to check on the progress of the truck. We were told that they were waiting for a truck to go our way and that they would call us as soon as our truck arrived in their Savannah location to set up a delivery date.By Wednesday (June 23), we still had not heard anything, so we called again. We were told that the truck had not yet arrived in Savannah, but it should arrive the next day and that they would contact us Thursday to schedule a delivery date, which would most likely be on Friday. When we did not hear from them by Thursday afternoon (June 24), my wife checked the online tracker and discovered that the truck was indeed in Savannah, and it noted that they were waiting for us to contact them. When we did so, we were told that they had already filled their delivery schedule for Friday, so our delivery could not be made until Monday, June 28.By this point, we were frustrated and angry at the delay. However, the representative refused to schedule any sort of delivery until we paid the balance on the account. Because of the delays, I was not inclined to trust that they would keep their word once they had the full amount of the payment, but I had no choice but to pay. I inquired about a discount and was told that they offered a $50 per day late discount, but that it would be taken off after we had paid. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told that the supervisor would have to call us back.We waited for more than an hour for that call, and decided to call back. I spoke with someone who was, I believe, a dispatch manager. He agreed that our frustrations were warranted, but explained that he could not schedule the delivery for Friday because his drivers would be over the legally allowed restrictions. He was more concerned about our frustrations than the last representative, so we arranged to make the payment with him. At that time, we discovered that there had already been a $250 discount applied to the cost. The manager then scheduled our delivery for Monday, June 28, promising that he would do his best to ensure the delivery was made by noon.We heard nothing by noon on Monday, June 28. I called back again in the early afternoon and was assured that the delivery was still scheduled for that day, but there were no notes about a delivery by noon. By dinner we still had no truck, so my wife called again. They assured us that the truck would be delivered that night. Finally, around 8pm, the driver arrived during a thunderstorm to deliver the truck. Many of our items were damaged, but by that point, we didn't want to deal with anyone in their company and simply threw away items and replaced as necessary. We finished with the truck and called them on Thursday, July 1. The driver came to get the truck the same evening. The drivers on both ends were fantastic, professional, and friendly. We were disappointed with our experience and felt that they repeatedly failed to deliver on what they had promised. We will not be using Upack's service again.

Out of all the moving pods and trailers I researched UPACK was the cheapest for my northern Illinois to southern Georgia move. My trailer arrived at my new home a week earlier than the estimated arrival date they gave me too. Customer service and drivers were extremely friendly and helpful also.

I had a good experience with this company. They forgot to get a trailer weighed and I had to call to find out my stuff had arrived at the delivery location but they were on time for delivery and pickup and our stuff arrived in good condition. If you have to move long distance and can't drive a u-haul this is a good option.

U Pack was a wonderful experience! We had never moved long distance before (Savannah, GA to Midlothian, VA) and were a bit nervous and overwhelmed. Once I spoke with representatives from U Pack I felt we had made the right decision. Every time I called with questions I spoke with a kind, professional person, never once having to use automated buttons to get a live representative. They explained the process, gave me a quote and walked me through the experience. The U Pack container was dropped off empty and on time, picked up the same way after we packed it. The company delivered it to the new apartment complex where it was parked in a spot close to my building. When we unpacked not one single thing was damaged! I liked the ability to track our U Pack to see where it was in the shipping process. The local service center in Virginia was extremely helpful. I spoke with Cindy at this office and she helped answer many of my questions and solve a major concern we had. I felt like a very valued customer while dealing with her and through the entire process. We will be using this company in the future if a move is needed again. I would highly recommend U Pack as they have many options to fit your needs and are very reasonable in their pricing. Thanks for a terrific experience!
