Stop allowing a customer to reserve a truck guaranteeing the reservation only to call me the day of my reservation to tell me that there isn’t a truck available.. also I was never given the $50 that is promised if your reservation is not honored I’m spending $500 a week and for the last three weeks I’ve been getting called the day of my reservation to tell me that my reservation cannot be honored. I will leave from one location on Abercorn Street and have to drive all the way to the other location on Ogeechee Road with no compensation, I’m self-employed, and sometimes I just don’t have time to stick around and argue with staff

The whole crew at the 8810 Abercorn St location is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL....including the manager...Will never rent from that location again...

Had to got to two separate locations because my reserved equipment was not available at the first location. I was unable to then return the equipment to the closer of the locations. It was inconvenient. That is the only reason for the four stars instead of five. The employees at both locations were amazing, helpful, and very friendly,

Not for a moment did the two women helping me seem to indicate the slightest tone of apology that, though my reservation for a 20' truck was "guaranteed," they in fact did not have a truck, but instead I would have to add an hour to my evening to pick up a truck at a different location."So what's the point of a reservation?" I asked."You gotta take that up with .com," they said.Next time I'm using Penske.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Corey, the general manager of the store. All I can say is wow!! The entire experience was above and beyond. He took the time to explain everything and was extremely thorough. The gentleman that hooked up the vehicle for us was also extremely helpful. Highly recommend over any other uhaul in Savannah.

The location on Abercorn exhibited exemplary customer service behavior if I could change one aspect, it would only be that the traffic department give me a call or text message to inform me the actual location where my equipment was reserved. That did not happen in this situation.

Called the 800 number to reserve my uhaul and in true Uhaul fashion they over promised and under delivered.HOWEVER, when I got to this location Steve and the General Manager were awesome and did everything they could including getting their IT department on the phone to ensure they could get me squared away!!!Thank you Steve and the GM (sorry for not catching your name!). You made a disastrous situation sooo much better!!!!!

RUDE, UNHELPFUL and DISHONEST is what these folks are here at the Abercorn UHAUL Branch in Savannah! Use them at your own peril! I rented a UHAUL van for one day local here in Savannah. After I was finished with it and was getting ready to return it back, I heard the doors of the van automatically lock a few seconds after I had stepped out of the van to grab my bag...automatically locked with the keys inside! Luckily I had my phone in my pocket and immediately called the branch. After being placed on hold for like 15-20 min the receptionist answered but was very rude and said that something like that had never happened before and there was nothing she could do to help! Nothing! No spare key, no locksmith she could send over to unlock it or even one to recommend! I asked her if I can talk to the manager and she said he was busy out in the lot and it would take a real long time because she had to attend to other customers in line. RUDE and UNHLPEFUL!! I found a locksmith based in downtown Savannah that came over and unlocked the van door for me. This costed me $75 . When I got to Abercorn to return the van I asked to speak the manager to explained what happened. I told him about the the recpetionist on the phone earlier, but he defended her saying something this had never happened before, they don't carry spare keys of their vehicles and that they don't eeven use any locksmiths for any of their cars. I asked for a credit for the $75 I had to spend on the locksmith. This manager got visibly irritated, but then told that he would do something about it. I waited a few days for the final bill to come on my card... and the man had done nothing about it! He charged my card the full amount, no credit at all for the extra expenses, time and inconvenience. DISHONEST! DON'T USE THESE GUYS!

During the busiest time of month, the staff was extremely organized, kind, and good natured. I highly recommend this site to any customer and any of the staff on duty that morning for promotion!

This location is great and so are the employees the were kind and helpful when we were moving out of town and need a truck to rent. Especially the cashier Melissa she really made the whole process happen and she has a kind helpful personality. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area

I came here pretty early in the morning hoping to avoid a line. While I did still have to wait a bit, Wendy was able to help me and was so friendly! I got the trailer I needed with no issues.
