Took me awhile to check my receipt carefully. I knew there would be extra fees, but they added $695. for dealer overhead and profit. That should have been included in the negotiated price. They added $199. for vehicle security anti theft. That should not be a required fee. Check all your paperwork!

I posted this review on Google with no response from the dealership even though they asked me to contact them. I left numerous voice mails for one of the managers and have not received a response. My partner even posted a review here after he cut himself while cleaning the rear seats. So, my big complaint was that there were pieces of glass in the back seat and trunk and I am still finding small pieces of glass in the back seating area when I am cleaning the car! I did talk to Josh in the finance department who told me that the previous owner let the car sit and someone threw a brick through the rear window. Unacceptable to sell a car with pieces of glass in it! Also, one item that I totally missed while inspecting the car is the removable trunk floor that covers the spare tire. I lifted the carpet up and was able to see the tire but did not lift the cover. Once I got the car home and started cleaning it, I lifted the trunk floor cover and it fell apart - totally soaked by water. Now I need to buy a new cover.I had contacted the finance dept. because I was forced into paying for their $199 "anti theft" window engraving that is done to every car they sell. I have searched every window and even the door jambs to find the VIN engraving but have not found any engraving! And I own other vehicles that have this so I know what I'm looking for. I reviewed the paperwork that I signed to accept the "anti theft" deal and saw a statement that said that it's not required to purchase the car. However, I was told by the salesman AND the finance manager that I must pay for it. Shame on me for not reading the fine print before I accepted it.To summarize, this car was not a "cream puff" as advertised. The dealership lied to me about the mandatory "anti theft" engraving (did they even do it?). They sold a vehicle littered with chards of glass which shows their lack of attention to detail when they prepare a used car for sale. And, the paperwork was not completed properly for the title transfer so they had to redo it and I'm still waiting to get plates and title for it!Totally fed up and disappointed with this dealership that prides itself with being in business for many years and taking care of their customers.

If I could give a negative 0 , I would . I got my car here about 5/6 months ago and from the start I had issues . I immediately had a piece broken that I pour fluid in and was not caught until AFTER sold to me . They then had to order the piece and I got it fixed literally like a month later . 6 months in and my car is now fucked all together . My head gasket is blown due to them selling me a car with a bad head gasket due to " blue devil " being put in it by a prior owner most likely. Had that been caught in the inspection done before selling , it wouldn't have been sold to me because it's not allowed . I know this all because a CURRENT EMPLOYEE that has looked at my car has told me that is why but yet they are telling me it's my engine and not my head gasket and that they do their inspections thoroughly. I have brought this up to the GM Bob and he was rude, not helpful, and not understanding. He shut me down and continued about how they've been open 100 or so years and they would never do that . I will be taking this further and if needed get a lawyer . Please , if you're reading this , look the other way when you see this place . Save your money .

Buyers bewareAcquired a pre owned Honda accord advertised as "creampuff" but it is nowhere near being as advertised.-lied about car etching that it is a requirement to purchase a vehicle, but according to the papers it is optional.Reached out to the dealership they gave us the run around and SEIZED ALL COMMUNICATIONS.-paperwork were incorrect (cannot get plates for our state) said they will over night another temporary tag but of course nothing happened.-paint and clear coat is chipping-headlights are very hazy -pieces of glass were left in the car (cut myself from cleaning it)-floor board in the trunk was soaked in water, had to remove disintegrated floor.

Bait and Switch are entirely appropriate. The one word to describe the sales staff, including everyone from general management to the newest salesperson on the floor, is crook. The cars are okay ... they're Hondas. Good car. These people sold me a Pilot and a service contract. We agreed to the contract after the sales puke told us that the agreement was good at every Honda dealer, coast to coast. Only it wasn't. It was only good in Savannah. So I'm done with Honda, and I'd instead drag myself across three miles of razor blades than enter the Southern Honda dealership: bait and Switch/Crooks & Crap.

The service department here seems uninterested in efficiency. Nothing is going to happen quickly, including check in, repairs, check out. Repairs seem fine...just be prepared to wait hours even for simple things.

I will try to keep this one short, but Southern Motors Honda was the light at the end of the tunnel for me in a nightmare windshield situation. When I noticed my windshield was cracked, I called my insurance company and they referred me to a glass shop in Savannah. They said I would have to go to a shop in person as the safety features would have to be recalibrated after the replacement. When I arrived at the glass shop, they had a notice posted that they do not recalibrate cars. When I asked, their associate let me know that they do not undo the safety features wiring, and all they do is remove the camera from the windshield and reposition it onto the new glass. When I left the shop, my lane departure feature did not seem right, so I made an appointment at another Honda dealership to get the recalibration. Over the phone they told me it "would not take that long and would not cost that much." The next day, I arrived at the other dealership for my appointment. The service manager told me it would take up to 3 hours and cost upwards of $350. That is a long time and a lot of money if you ask me!After much back and fourth, the glass shop convinced my insurance company to let them replace the newly inserted after market windshield with the correct Honda one. The other dealership said to call them when the windshield was replaced, and they would get me right in for the recalibration. We expressed this to the glass shop when they replaced the new windshield, and the manager said those numbers did not seem right. She took the liberty of calling Southern Motors who informed us that calibrations cost a standard amount of $245 and should take 45 minutes to complete. We called the other dealership who stood by their $350 and 3 hours quote. The next move was obvious to us.My fiancé took my car with the new Honda windshield to Southern Motors and the Service Advisor, Jacob Rainwater, was there to greet him. He stated that the safety features likely do not need the calibration with the "correct" windshield, so off they both went for a test drive. Jacob checked every safety feature for accuracy and everything was working as expected. He expressed that the other windshield I originally received was not compatible with the cameras, and that's why the lane departure was not working. Jacob said we did not need the recalibration afterall! And if we decide after a few days to get one, that it would not take 3 hours and would not cost $350.I am first of all blown away by how poor the service center at the other dealership was, but also blown away by how honest Southern Motors Honda was. I will be taking all of my service (and more than likely sales) business here.

I had taken my older parents to Savannah for a visit. I had a problem with my key fob on my Acura. We stopped here to see if they could help me. Jacob Rainwater was a huge help. We wound up having to run over to the Acura dealer, but Jacob was super professional and did everything he could to assist me. The staff at this service department were great.

Welcome to Savannah and the good old bait and switch. I just relocated here and need a new leased vehicle. After browsing online, I was contacted by Brian. I was quite specific about my budget and what I was looking for. After several text and email exchanges, he texted me this morning to "come right in." The vehicle wasn't ideal but would have worked but his numbers were crazy. I told him he was way off and he went to speak to his manager. When he returned, Brian tried to get me to buy a 6 year old used Civic. Wasted my time. A call to the general manager also did nothing. And I was looking forward to buying from a small dealership

Took a ************** for a broken window regulator. They said they HAD to do a diagnostic even though we already knew what was wrong and only took it there for convenience. We NEVER approved anything be done to the window. When we came back, the window was supported by painters tape wrapped around the window frame. We didn't have the time to fix it ourselves so we took it to *********** Honda who reported to us that the actual cable had been cut, hence why the window refused to stay up. We NEVER approved them to slice the regulator cable and HH Honda couldn't think of a reason to do it, especially since the window was already in the UP position. All we could imagine is that they sliced it so the window would not be physically able to support itself and we would be forced to fix it by them.

Corey M. was very great to me and my car! I received so many details on keeping up with maintenance with my car and things that need attention. He was very detailed and instructive, not to mention very patient! He's a great advisor that I've dealt with!

We have always been a Honda Family, so when our eldest daughter moved here we were pleasantly surprised to find a local Honda dealership near her new job. Marleny was our sales consultant and she provided exceptional customer service and she helped my daughter lease a new Honda Civic. She has always had exceptional service from Jacob and the team in the service department as well. Buying a car from this dealership felt like buying from a family member (one you like!). I highly recommend them for all you Honda automotive needs. Thanks again Marleny for making my daughters first major purchase a stress free event!
