My concern is the soles don’t have gripping power and almost slick and will be when worn awhile?

Probably the best shoes made in America. Great service too. Because I wear a bulky brace on my left foot and ankle, I require two different size shoes, 13 on my right foot, 16 on my left foot. For most brands of shoes, I need to buy two pairs, 13 and 16, and discard two shoes. But SAS accommodates my need by allowing me to special order a mismatched pair. It takes a few weeks, but I save money. Thanks SAS for your support. If you have a special need, go see Bill, he'll fix you right up.

I am sorry to bust everyone's bubble about SAS SHOES, But I feel that I am and authoritive seeing that I have worn these shoes for over 45 years as a blackjack dealer in Atlantic City. The shoes then was basically about 85 to a $100. Best shoe I ever wore 2 days ago. I purchased a very similar shoe that I wore back Then it was $214.00. I received the shoe and upon slipping it on my foot. I could not believe how hard It was inside no memory foam or or cushioning nothing I could have gotten this exact shoe at Walmart for 4 times cheaper shame onSAS You are charging more money for your shoes by giving cheaper quality. You need to close shop.

No customer service. It was like I did not exist. She did not ask if I needed help or anything . If I had never bought SAS shoes I would have walked out and bought nothing as I was I bought two pair of SAS shoes. I will go to St Augustine or Charleston rather than buy anything in a store that I feel unwelcome in.
