DO NOT USE!!
I can’t say it enough. Moving is miserable. PODS in Savannah made it TEN TIMES WORSE. My POD was set to be delivered on Tuesday when I needed to be out the following Monday, plenty of time to back. The driver they sent, Matt refused to deliver it to MY driveway. Putting it on the street required a permit that I didn’t apply for because I have a paved driveway. He took the POD away and didn’t leave it. I had to get a permit in person to get it fast enough. The POD was set to delivery BEFORE the hurricane and they pushed it back again and again and again. So I didn’t get my POD until THE DAY I WAS SET TO MOVE. Horrible. And the next delivery guy, Stephen put it in the DRIVEWAY no problem. So if you do it make sure Matt isn’t your idiot driver.

The delivery, chaotic. The pick up, more chaotic. The fees, high. The ease of payments, against the law. The customer service, without a doubt -the worst. The product, mediocre. I’ve spent at least $14k and countless hours just trying to talk to someone who knew what they were talking about. Everyone has a different answer. They actually have no military specialists or military prices like they claim. A military move from Georgia to Texas, shouldn’t be as difficult as this was. I would rather use the military movers and have all my stuff damaged before I ever use or even recommend PODS ever again. Ever. There’s no reason anyone should ever use them, there are far too many companies with more reasonable prices and reasonable staff. And at the very least at least you won’t have to spend hours trying to talk to someone overseas for the simplest of things to still never get resolved.
Don’t ask me to send my complaint, because I’ve done it. Still waiting on things to be resolved.

Awful. Both the scheduler and mover were so rude and nasty for no reason. Just not interested in being helpful in any capacity. No pride in their position or company at all. Very disappointing experience.

Overall, very happy with the services by Pods. I am in the military and did a DITY move using three Pods. I set up the deliveries through the customer service line, and had to move one pick up date, all with no issue. The company was spot on with the dates I requested and were very good with communicating of the pickup/delivery times. The drivers were all very friendly and helpful, especially Tony Sheats out of the Savannah, GA location. If they had done better with required weight tickets, I would have given them 5 stars. The origin location in Hyattsville, MD was awful about this. They charged me for 6 weight tickets (3 empty and 3 full) but only gave me two questionable empty tickets- they were dated 3 days after delivery so obviously not our pods weighed. No full tickets, and completely ignored the third pod. The customer service team was great in getting the refunds, and ensured I had all the necessary documentation from the destination location.
Overall, easy to set up, on time and accurate with dates, and our stuff arrived with virtually zero damage. I would recommend them but you should keep on top of them if you need weight tickets.

So far, my experience has been terrible. My pod was supposed to be delivered on one date and then suddenly gets pushed out four days (it's sitting at the local depot). I can understand one day, but four? Then they schedule a return for over a week later from the new delivery date. I live in a community where I can't have a pod sitting in my driveway for over a week. To top it off they say they called to notify me of the pending change -- I have no record on my phone -- but yet they somehow have my number correctly tied to my account. It's apparent "PODS" has little control over their local delivery companies. This will now cost me in work lost having to manage around a new delivery date and potential fines from my community.
Update: The pod did get delivered (four days later than planned) and the contents arrived generally unscathed. After complaining about the delayed return pickup, they were able to move up the return date to something reasonable.
